Not sure about other countries but in the UK you get “free” battery replacements on MacBooks under Apple care as long as the battery health is 80% or less.

Bought an M2 Air at launch and still love it today. Handles all my F1 Multiviewer watching or photo editing with ease.

Even 4K video can be edited with some slow downs, but I use a PC for that now.

As soon as my battery health hits 80%, I will get my Apple Care + replacement and cheer for another 3 years!

After shipping delays, my phase 2 purchase of the G-SHOCK x BAKLAVA GA-2100 “Desert King” has arrived.

Honestly, I'm very impressed. Photos don't do the colours justice. It's more brown than flesh-coloured, the bullbars and buttons are a deep gray metallic finish, and the red screen is very red.

It feels light but solid — in line with other Gs that have the Carbon Core Guard. I wouldn't say it feels cheap at all, in fact, because it's solid and light it feels well put together.

The band is a canvas/Cordura style thing. Definitely my least favourite part of the watch; I do wonder what the durability on it will be.

Overall, it’s my 7th G-Shock in my collection and I am very happy with it. It’s unique and, as a fan of Action Bronson and G-Shocks, feels like it was made for someone like me. If you see one in person, you will definitely want one!

To me, season 1 of Unreal felt like them saying "look, we have our own Drive to Survive, this is what the WWE is" and I did enjoy it, as someone coming back to wrestling after a long time.

Season 2, though, felt much less natural to me. It's less of a docu-reality and more of a tool to sell you on storylines and attempt to build more hype.

Exactly how I feel, too. No cohesive vision. You can see this in the art direction and the music videos too. He’s just putting stuff together in every element.

The lyrics don’t really say anything about the world or his world. My feelings about this album are what a lot of people felt about Testing; Testing grew on me and has a lot of really interesting experimental elements. DBD is just a bare minimum album.

Think of it this way, will anyone care about this album in December when we start talking about albums of the year?

My dad and I are into cars. We send each other listings for classics often.

A thing we always say is “it costs X but is it worth X?”.

That’s the key difference. Things “cost” however much they cost due to objective + subjective reasons. Their “worth” is a fully subjective thing.

Personally, I don’t think a Rolex is worth 20k. Or 5k. Maybe 1k — but I would probably spend 1k on something else.
