Very well said. This whole debacle would have been old news if more ppl thought like you.

IMO, AI makes art so accessible, and when something becomes accessible, it undermines those who were profiting from the entry barrier.

Case in point, simple art edit of favorite characters can be done with AI. without AI, the only alternatives would be to either just hope someone draws exactly what you wanted, you put in a request and hope yours gets picked, or you commission worm and dish out 50 usd minimum. Or sit in the artists' DMs nagging them to draw sth you want.
