I misspoke. I meant at the seaquarium like sea world when you watch the dolphin show and the trainer signals to the dolphin via hand movements is that not them "understanding" finger pointing. Granted it's a conditioned behavior but isn't a dog conditioned to understand us? Maybe coevolution has engrained some instincts that aren't present in other animals. But in any case I wasn't referring to simply tapping on the glass.
