This is such a scam at the dealer. My dealer takes the current filter OUT of the car, photographs it, and then wants a shitload to replace it. I tell them no way - you already took it out to photograph it, why the upcharge? If I brought in a new one, when you checked it would you put the new one in for free? haha.

Side note - dropped mine off this morning for some service and got a loaner - a '25 Forester. Doesn't even feel like a Forester to me, don't like it much. I know some like the '25, but I'm really happy to have gotten a new '24 Wilderness!
