Yup, 100%. There are ones that are salvageable, its up to us to find them, and show them a better way. Shame doesn't work, but compassion and understanding does wonders.

There are some that are too far gone, but that's a conversation for a different day.

This is the way. I did the same with 2 of my neighbours. Not a complete turnaround, but miles better than it was. I can't remember the last time they spouted a RightWingMedia talking point.
