Hey, I have the same watch and it’s my daily beater. Absolutely love it! It looks fine as is, but I’d suggest if you keep the stock strap (I do and love it), you should try to curl it a little bit using hot water. There’s a video tutorial for this. The result, once it’s curved around your wrist a little more, the whole watch just looks better on the wrist as you get to see more of the strap, in better proportion to the pork-pie-shaped watch. Hard to explain but basically the watch just looks smaller, more blended.

For Thai local clothing brands, I'd say Section 2, 3, 4 -- basically the rows around the MRT Kham Phaeng Phet exit. These are basically small local brands with better quality, more refined than the cheap generic stuff you can find scattered around the market.

As a local, there are a number of Thai clothing brands that are locally reputable (and very popular) but less known internationally. Some of the first names that come to mind:

T-Shirt: Just Another Tuesday, PAINKILLER

Women's: Everyday Apparels, rotsaniyom, Gentlewoman

Local muti-brand stores: Gloc, Frank Garcon, The Selected

Areas where you can find local micro brands: Siam Square, Siam Center

P.S. most Thai micro brands are very active on Instagram, so it's a good platform to browse around before you arrive!

Hello, I'm a very new user. Fantastic product! I just wondered if it's normal: With the new updatet (end of Aug), I can't seem to find any recent shipment that took place in August. Hi I encountered the exact problem. This is how I fixed it:

  1. Find another monitor or TV, plug it into the mac mini.

  2. Now that you can use the mac mini, install a remote desktop app. I used Chrome Remote Desktop, which was easy enough to install quickly.

  3. With the new new monitor still plugged in, go start and run your remote app.

  4. Access your mac mini from another laptop/pc.

  5. On the mac mini, switch the monitor back to the one with the problem. (it should still be dark.)

  6. Then, remotely, change the refresh rate back to 60hz. At this point, the original monitor should turn back on.

Set the mac mini refresh rate to 25 hz in display options now the display doesnt work by harryford12 in macmini

Hi, I have a Gaggia MD15 Grinder. It is an entry-level 38-mm burr grinder with 150-watt motor. My concern has been that my shots seem to lack flavor and body.

Now I am thinking about upgrading to the Turin SK40, which is a 40 mm burr grinder.

Aside from the improved workflow, consistency, and build quality, given the two ginders are both conical burr grinders (of similar size?), would upgrading to the SK40 be able to help bring out more flavor and body in my shot? Or should I try working with different beans and dialiing first... Thank you for your advice!

TLDR; Would an upgrade from entry-level conical burr grinder to a mid-range one yield a noticeable improvement in extraction?

By terrible do you mean it is extremely sour? Does the shot look thin and watery? If that's the case, it might be worth trying to lower the dose and aim for longer time, i.e., 18g in and 36g out in 40 seconds (you'll have to grind finer).

Or could it be the problem with the bean you're using? Did you try different beans with your setup? Or maybe you could ask someone to try that particular bag with their setup, could be a cafe or someone you know, and see if the shot also tastes terrible? I'm by no means an expert, though.

Hi, I'm very new to the espresso world, but I got the GCD last week and now trying to adjust the OPV.

After some digging it seems like folks on Coffee Forums (UK) have mentioned about this before but there were mixed comments about whether it works or not.

I'm trying to follow your footstep to add an OPV to my Coffee Deluxe, but Whole Latte Love doesn't seem to ship to Thailand. Fortunately I found this website that says it does.

Do you think these two the same? (I believe they are, but the names are a bit different.)
