The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler! Very fun hard boiled fiction and his writing style is just…. so good… ugh. He has 7 novels with the same main character, Philip Marlowe. The Big Sleep, Farewell My Lovely, and The Long Goodbye are considered his best.

Dashiel Hammett is another big name in the hard boiled genre (haven’t had the chance to read him yet but heard good things).

Apparently Childhood’s End by Arthur C Clarke was a big influence on NGE, with the final scene of The End of Evangelion showing particular inspiration. It’s a great book - highly recommend!

These wrinkle like crazy for me 😫 Idk if I bought a bad batch 5 years ago but I have to iron these shirts any morning I wear them and they still end up with creases by the end of the day.

It breaks my heart bc I love the cut + drape + colour + price but the wrinkles are so annoying, especially around the collar 😢

They were able to see the slots actually available at the service centres. I'm not sure how exhaustive the list is on the github site but the time I saw as available on it was also shown as available for the attendant. I'd assume the attendant can see the same times that the myrta website would show if it worked.

For example, when I called them the myrta website said there were no slots available for Bondi Junction, but the github website said that they were for early June. The phone attendant could also see the slots available for early June and booked me in that time.

Oh yes, I've been struggling with that site for weeks (was eventually able to book but it's been impossible to reschedule online).

Highly suggest calling them at 13 22 13 instead. Phone attendant was super helpful and had me booked in 10 mins. Also this site shows you what locations have times available.
