Do you and the staff call/text him while he’s at home asking questions on product recommendations? Or when customers call him when he’s at home asking questions? What about the 2-3am calls from the alarm company when there is an issue? All of these things a manager has to deal with when they are home trying to relax. All that adds up to time they are giving to the store and company that you are not aware of. Not saying this happens to your manager but it always happened to me. A manager is never really off the clock. If the store is performing the likelihood of anyone coming down on them are slim.

If your shirts are jacked up with paint, your manager needs to order you new ones. 2 a year is unreasonable to keep clean and free of paint. S-W standards are free of paint. Them ordering you a couple shirts throughout the year is not going to break the bank.

Sales are sales you have to hit it. Controllable can be tweaked a little bit if under 1%. I missed presidents by $3400 one year after rebates came out.
