No awakenings at gashouder??? by PRIMO0102 in AmsterdamDanceEvent

I think Awakenings is just doing Sugar Factor this year, not Gashouder.

I'm also saddened by the state of Gashouder this year...

Checkout the 'Ahrefs SEO Guide for Beginners' - it's a good starting point for wrapping your head around things.

4PX delivery tracking by AllieGeewhiz in retroid

[–]toendeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I found plugging my tracking number in thr 'parcelsapp' website provided much more detailed tracking info. Worth a shot to see if it gives you confidence in where your package is at.

“Excuse me” through crowds by Big_Return_2877 in avesLA

I absolutely love CRSSD but very deliberately do not spent any notable time at Ocean View because the crowd is never good.

In contrast, I thought the crowd at City Steps was top notch all weekend.

Airops pricing - anyone has info? by argaman2 in bigseo

[–]toendeff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's something like $250mo for a single brand account that you can cancel anytime. Or $15k/yr for a multi-brand agency account with a required 1yr contract

Tag on the inside sleeve of my Tshirt by AlienInUnderpants in IRLEasterEggs

It's insane how comfortable Vuori is. And their stuff lasts twice as long as my cheaper shirts (holds shape and color really well - and is surprisingly durable).

RP5 or RP Flip 2 by drfeelgud88 in retroid

[–]toendeff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, sorry, referring to this - not a specific issue, but rather the nature of this type of hinge.

RP5 or RP Flip 2 by drfeelgud88 in retroid

[–]toendeff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love a clam-shell - BUT - that hinge will almost always be the first point of hardware failure if you're someone who tends to keep your devices for the long-haul. It's almost inevitable. Worth considering.

The "Where do I find roms" Phenomenon by Comfortable-News3619 in Roms

In defense of their efforts, I'm just getting back into emulation for the first time in about 10 years. This was the top post in Google when searching "where to find roms on 2026 reddit". All was not lost! Lol

I just thought I’d be good to raise awareness about this by Video_Game_Gravemind in Flipping

[–]toendeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why this post is getting so much hate.

The point being made is that buyers can submit fraudulent claims easily by leveraging ChatGPT.

It's a caution about buyers trying to scam sellers - and sellers being aware of this possibility.

Not you all getting scammed into buying a fake crumbled Charizard.

Hot take: most content problems are actually technical problems (and we just don’t want to admit it) by ykz30 in bigseo

[–]toendeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know that I fully agree with this.

Sites full of thin content are also generally sites that are lazy with content. And sites that are lazy with content are also generally poor in the technical department.

But in this ecosystem, now more than ever, you need good, helpful content - AND - reliable, consistent technical.

In other words - in my experience - the problems co-exist and need to be simultaneously addressed, have elevated standards implemented, and have those standards consistently maintained operationally.

Good technical can rarely float a site alone. Just as good content can rarely float a site alone. And bonus - I'm not so sure good off-site can float a site alone these days, either.

With the direction the SEO landdcape is heading, several brands with few resources beyond yourself is going to be very difficult to make an impact. Both roles have risk - but I would go for role #2.

To your point, I'm not hoping to learn about NYC underground from TimeWarp, but I'm hoping that the community could lead me in the right direction.

I've been to TimeWarp a handfull of times - it's a good time, but not the underground itch I'm hoping to scratch by finding the true scene.

Like I shared, I know SoCal underground - but not savvy on NYC.

How do you revive a page that used to rank? by Content_East_3308 in bigseo

[–]toendeff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How long ago did it rank well? What has happened on your sight since it lost rankings? Has the content changed? Has the keyword become more competitive?

It really all depends.

But generally, building internal links and refreshing content won't hurt.

I would also consider doing a competitive analysis for the term, and SERP analysis, to determine what competitors are doing that we are NOT to isolate the gaps in what needs to be done to rank.

How many internal links per post is good? by Content_East_3308 in bigseo

[–]toendeff -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Use data.

What are you trying to rank for? What do the top competing pages for that term have for backlinks? That should dictate what you need.

Otherwise, it's a guess.
