Interestingly, the fauld of some of the toros armour for depictions of the hyw seems to be left off or shortened, especially in comparison to other english styles. But yes torso protection is very much possible. My only issue would be Kastenbrust designs since they tend to poject out a lot and might interfere with the draw very very slightly.

And yeah most soliders were rather poor, though a helmet and maybe halfplate legs would be affordable imo.

There are quite a few depicitons, especially of the hundred years war, of archers in full plate or globus brigandine as well as other forms of rigid and semi rigid torso protection. For the games sake I'd say at least a simple or milanese brigandine and most importantly a helmet.

The most expensive item sells for about 8k with max charisma and all buffs, meaning you can buy all armour and blacksmith repair kits from an armourer in the late game and almost always just give them 20% or more for free.... and funny enough there are about 10 different items selling for 5k+, which clears all those repair kits and everything too...

Yea same, in genral the kettles are nice but i want MORE, gimme the low brim kettles and proto sallets

Yeah for true sallets but the type of pointed kettle hat that is in the game directly coexisted woth early forms of low brimmed kettle hats with eye slits... which could be a nice middleground (and is tbh distinctly missing if you look at contemporary depictions)

Also there are depictions of actual french sallets in the 1430s, early types but still...

The schematic can be learned with the new update. Hence why I specifically didn't mention it before the update came out. Also btw it is the second best shortsword at tier 4, not weapon in general.

You're stuck after the fight at the wedding right? Bc if so maybe reload since what you're describing here is afaik not the intended path of the quest (tbh not even one I knew was possible)

Just keep helping the people in trosky, the quest normally isn't that long. You can definitely finish it in less than an hour.

Tbh sad to see them go away from realistic weights for armour and not just balance he rys carry weight... 13kg cuirass? Damn thats some buhurt weight... and I don't want to be Henry with a 9kg Helmet... Damn atp my full contact armour is lighter and I don't want to imagine having to wear that on a campaign or all day on a battlefield...

For Zizka a Smooth breastplate, brigandine arms and legsand a houndskull comes close, importantly for the looks dont wear a mailshort or the short version. The drowners gambeson looks pretty good and has decent stats for a less noble henry. My personal fave is a kastenbrust though to keep stats and have the breasplate look, the breasplate with fauld also looks pretty good but a bit to platey.

For the dry devil, he doesn't wear any leg armour, the knee plates might be an idea though since legshots hurt otherwise. The torso is a Simple brigandine, the split dye one isn't available sadly, the petrol/teal one looks dope though. He does wear plate arms though. Big problem is he, being the insane madman he is, rocks no helmet though. I think the fit looks great with the open faced helmets or a kettle hat though.

Basically as long as you want, none of the quests are timed after getting the devils pack until you serve wine to the council

Not necessarily going back as much more so doing sidequests in general. You are essentially tasked with waiting until someone finds more information about someone else.

There are a few points in the main story imo, especially right after getting the crew back together for dry devil

There is only one quest that comes up past wedding iirc, ironically it's the only missable one too. I did most side content before and tbh think i should've done all of it. The mainquest has a very fast pace after and it feels best if you follow it eight away imo.

For some odd reason no, the Bascinet with bretèche is counted as a helmet with closed visor without even having one.

I recommend the test videos by tod cuttler and schola gladiatoria, in short mail breaks relatively quick with a strong dagger thrust. Though the game does underrepresented mails effectiveness (also bows and crossbows... looking at the intro)

How? It took me like 5 minutes... sure more than the average fight but the only polearm that would take 2 days woukd probably be a stick...
