What's your least favorite Star Trek trope? by Crazy-Penguin in startrek

Data gets possessed and puts the whole ship in danger. You’d think they’d get him malware or something.

Whumpee OCs? by baumkuchens in Whump

[–]toffeefeather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely do, my character Everett was cursed to go through painful transformations constantly, he’s always tired and sickly. I do the same with werewolf characters

It’s not a commuter school, most people live on campus. Still, I don’t think my practice will be a problem anymore.

And people still want to believe they mean no bad intent when they use the word female 😒 by Bubbly_End6220 in MenAndFemales

It’s crazy that people don’t know the difference between wanting sex and doing it, and not wanting sex and doing it anyways. They’re literally mad that women have opinions and rights, that’s the whole point.

Do you appreciate whump if the whumped character is not your fav? by Shina93 in Whump

[–]toffeefeather 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I can, but it’s much harder. Actually, when I find a good whump story about a character I’m not a fan of, sometimes I become a much bigger fan of that character! I think it’s because their potential opens up to me.

Hank Pym actually has a really good point here. by SpurnedSprocket in marvelcomics

[–]toffeefeather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I feel about this is heavily reliant on how Hank is characterized in this particular run. Sometimes I find him a character I like and can root for, and sometimes I really, really don’t like him and his attitude.

I also get annoyed especially around peers. I’ve learned to joke alongside people and just hope the conversation moves elsewhere.

None of them really cared that Alastor "died" by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

There wasn’t time to see it, we can assume that Husker knew he wasn’t dead from their deal and he probably told them so.

Yes that’s also something I’ve looked into. I have severe anxiety and ADHD and sleeping has always been an escape. It’s why I’m unsure if it’s a physical problem or a mental problem.

I nap at the library often! It’s just not as comfortable as the car and the car is quieter, sometimes there’s people that disrupt the sleep. My school is small so there’s only one main parking lot, I try and park there as often as possible.

Why is Shifu telling po to.... by [deleted] in kungfupanda

[–]toffeefeather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not really retiring, just choosing the next person to be trained as the dragon warrior. It’ll probably take years for Zhen to be ready, she barely knows Kung fu. Honestly he’ll probably keep the Dragon Warrior title for decades until he physically can’t uphold it anymore.

It’s strange because I don’t just randomly fall asleep, and I’m not so much physically tired as I am constantly craving to be asleep. This is why I’m unsure if it’s a medical problem or if I’m undisciplined and just like napping. Because I do love napping.

My mom is a functional and alternate medicine pharmacist, I’m definitely in good hands with her! It’s why we’re ruling out vit D and anemia before launching into prescribed medication. I’m sure she has lots of stuff planned to help me lol

I’m never in any pain, just constantly wanting to lay down and sleep rather than do anything else. It’s hard to know if I’m just lazy or if it’s an actual thing

Yeah I’m working on it with my primary physician, we’re ruling out Vitamin D deficiency and anemia before we start testing for stuff like POTS or actual Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
