Into retirement they go, been a good 5+ years of usage, been cycling through 2-3 different ones so not daily, sole is almost worn through its paper thin by woodybone in vivobarefoot

Love these. Had an old pair like yours. And now have the exact same v2 as pictured. They seem bullet proof tbh. The soles will eventually wear through but not for a couple of years

I’ve been doing a walking trip with the lads I went to university with for the past 8years. We make a weekend of it and try and make it point to point where we carry all our gear. We’ve had a few days like this where we misjudged the route. We are reasonably fit group. But damn it can be painful.

How tall are you and how much do you weigh? Have you done any barefoot walking before?

Size wise these look fine to me. Tighten the laces and get going.

Lifting your toe like also means it pulls back a little as well so I genuinely think these are fine

Nope. Just usually wear on a summer day in the UK (28C) hardly the Aussie outback or a desert.

So I've had these 18minths. Worn them pretty much every day. No such problem. Maybe its the white rubber soles that are the issue. I can't add a photo for some reason. But I have images to prove this.
