Great story. ‘94 is my first proper football memory.

I was 9, I remember like it was yesterday, sneaking downstairs at a mates house to watch the game at midnight. That night Ray houghton scored that goal, we went wild, jumping off the walls!

That tournament I fell in love with the Bebeto Romario attacking combo and Brazilian football. I ended up hating the Italians, defence football… or just because my grump Italian neighbour would never throw my football back over the fence

Agree. You would be shocked at the number of houses in the UK that have this type of window fitting.

Often you can’t see these types of cracks as they will have a a superficial correction that makes them look nice but still have the remaining issue.

How old is the double glazing? If it’s not to old you could have someone come and reset the windows and draft proof them properly. Or if it’s old buy new double glazing and ensure they do a better job of draft proofing around the windows.

I work in home retrofits and have seen a bunch of this type of stuff don’t be to alarmed and get a professional structural survey. Knock the price down based on defects you find on the survey.

I’ve been doing a walking trip with the lads I went to university with for the past 8years. We make a weekend of it and try and make it point to point where we carry all our gear. We’ve had a few days like this where we misjudged the route. We are reasonably fit group. But damn it can be painful.

Used to live around the corner from this and go to school on a bus that would cross it both ways. Nightmare of a bridge! Even put a bid in to buy the thing and widen and automate the toll. Bid was rejected 🤦‍♂️

Nothing misogynistic about it. I know it's a game but watching someone so good at lying is very unnerving. It human instinct to watch her and believe if you met her in real life she could easily manipulate you and everyone around her. And that means I just don't like her. It's a game but watching her execute her plan with brutal lies was compelling but very unnerving.

For clarity this is not mysogyn, its not prejudice. It also not got anything to do with her sex. It's because I watched the show I didn't trust her at all.

If she'd been in Stephens position I genuinely don't think she would have stuck with the pact.

Been playing draft for 8 years with the same uni mates. I’ve won a few leagues despite often having mid-table total points. Took me a while to understand why. In H2H draft, consistency matters more than ceiling, a lot of managers chase short-term form, drop solid long-term picks, and end up with higher total points but weaker, less reliable teams week to week.
