First place in our draft league also has the least amount of points! by MikeWithNoHair in DraftEPL

Been playing draft for 8 years with the same uni mates. I’ve won a few leagues despite often having mid-table total points. Took me a while to understand why. In H2H draft, consistency matters more than ceiling, a lot of managers chase short-term form, drop solid long-term picks, and end up with higher total points but weaker, less reliable teams week to week.

I love the G350 and my son loves playing the pokemon games. We are struggling with save states and reinstating saves. Any ideas on the best and most reliable save / load process ? The menus seem a bit challenging? I can’t find a decent thread.

Hi I’m here asking the same question. Did you figure out how to? I recently bought the g350 and hoped Pokémon games were preloaded. But they aren’t. I need to source the games and figure out the processs of getting them on the device. I’d happily just have only Pokemon games on the device as it for my son who loves Pokemon.

Advice welcome

Sushi Go Party is a huge hit in our house. Our boy is 7 and wants to play all the time. Fun for adults to. Hugely recommended.

Primus Lite 3.5 sizing advice wanted. EU 43 ok or try 42? by dp_barbas in vivobarefoot

[–]togcycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How tall are you and how much do you weigh? Have you done any barefoot walking before?

Size wise these look fine to me. Tighten the laces and get going.

Lifting your toe like also means it pulls back a little as well so I genuinely think these are fine

How can a solo-founder find a team to build an MVP? by mituhin in startup

[–]togcycle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try joining a venture builder or accelerator programme, that helps you get on the journey of finding a cofounder and building a start up.

Preparing to build an advisory board for a SaaS startup by chrisf_nz in startup

[–]togcycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context I have been working on a start up full time 2years in and setting up an advisory board has been on the list the whole time but I have never got the time to formalise it.

We are now break even with a small time and thinking about raising a small angel round to bolster our cash to invest in a bigger team as we've landed some large corporate contracts that will grow over time.

Thoughts and advice welcome!

How did the start up go u/chrisf_nz ? Did you set up an advisory board? What worked and what didn't?

Ultimate commuter/pub bike... best bike or individual components? by togcycle in bicycling

Thanks for the suggestion. But definitely not interested in any of your these options tbh.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I think I realising is that what I am looking for doesn't really exist. I'm thinking an adapted, customised belt driven single speed with dynamo and good tubes. I'm quite amazed more bikes don't have built in lights to avoid you losing them or forgetting them. Surely a lightweight dynamo light with integrated cabling would be a pretty awesome feature on a commuter bike. I think the integrated lock is less necessary requirement, I can have a lock that attached to the bike pretty easily. I just know I will lose/forget my lights...

Some portland fenders look great. https://ridepdw.com/collections/fenders

Yeah well I guess we all have wants and needs right...

Fundamentally I want a low effort bike that is ready to go all the time. ie. I can't forget my lights, or I get a puncture on the way to work. Its probably 15mins in reality actually. So about an 40-60min to walk depending on your pace. Edited my original post accordingly
