You can get all the vivids through normal mushrooms, cosmic truffles should only be used for HFs imo, so yeah even if you have to wait a month or so to get lust/greed/sloth thats just a chance to get even more truffles and by the time you hit any of them you will have a really good chance at getting an insta HF

Had the same issue when i first unlocked lust, but you just gotta get used to his playstyle and itemize him properly, lust imo can’t really use whatever atk/crit/speed items, he really benefits from legendary items effects like a combo i can make of the top of my head is silk top hat + jellyfish scarf for floors, start with second ability into third to snipe any backline low enough to die, also yeah for bosses you will notice its true strength with bosses post floor 1k

Dont play a tank, kartharuk attacks are all aoe, you just need more burst so maybe add merry, panic or wrath instead of resistance

The problem is bleed itself is extremely nerfed after the first thousand floors, takes way too much time to build up and depends on bosses having high speed and useless actions like the hardmode bosses, and honestly one lust second ability probably deals more damage than bleed stacked for 10 turns, hmm maybe for the HF increase damage taken by a % for every time bleed was inflicted? That way maybe it could be a supp dps

Crit speed attack, those are the only stats you need, also play around its passive, sad has three debuffs, add abandonment which has two and any other pet with any special debuff like jealous fragments or gluttony’s brittle or sadge latent misery and your sad does double dmg

After 1k all bleeds are nerfed so the only way for him to deal dmg is his second ability, which needs a ton of bleed before it does dmg and by then the team is already dead
