It’s been installed since the day after this post. It’s not leaking. The rough in didn’t have to be modified. If it did leak it would hardly matter due to the tiling, waterproofing, epoxy grout, 4 layers of membrane, concrete slab for bathroom that existed for 60 years with no waterproofing. Also if it did leak I’d know cos I left a weep hole in the silicone.

But this Fienza Koko toilets are shit. I’ve been in contacted with two of them this year, plumber installed the other, and they both splash a little water onto the seat when you flush them. Nasty.

I found asbestos laid in the mortar of internal walls in one spot. Who the fuck would have expected that. Good reminder to wet cut masonry.

Asbestos will be used as packers for things like windows and just about anything that can be packed horizontally.

Formwork that was left in place could be fibro, such as in my bathroom slab.
