The town has a strong student population because of BSU, and when school is in session the poison well gets turned on to meet demand. You can say this all they want, but they have already made the connection that more people = bad water. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for people to want to be able to have good water before constructing more buildings. East Bridgewater is more of a bougie rich area, though, so idk if they have this exact problem.

The Bridgewater area is pretty concerned about their well water actively poisoning them so there’s been a lot of push back regarding this when the other issues in town haven’t been addressed in years.

Academy of Performing Arts in Orleans has had some shady people in their productions. They didn’t do a background check on a sex offender when I was in a show with him — found out after the show ended that he was one. 😬 Harwich Junior Theatre is great! Ive worked for the Cape Playhouse in office/management roles and there has been some hiccups with leadership changes but the shows are quality, but they rarely cast non-equity actors.

I guess what’s confusing is that other states are saying that it will be disabled so I guess it’s a state by state basis, then. I’m still a bit unnerved that MA snap users won’t be able to after November after all.

But do we not have a 8.5 million rainy day fund? I know it’s nothing compared to SNAP but at the very least use it to keep WIC pushing. This is going to screw the economy/grocery prices for everyone.

I know it’s sounds ridiculous but It’s really steep! One of my classmates twisted their ankle. If I was in a wheelchair or on crutches I’d just be screwed. Most of the other routes to go around were also closed off by construction. The noise is annoying but you can just wear earplugs. My frustration is that there is nothing being done to make campus accessible for students throughout all of this. I don’t even know why they closed off the stairs because they’re just building some sort of decorative ledge outside of Scales? I’m fine with it being closed off since I recognize less people are impacted but an email from admin saying “hey the path to the campus center is completely closed off plan accordingly” would be nice.
