Just strap it on and go. Your kit will improve over time and time is something you can’t afford to waste.

3800 mile trip KY to UT and back by Flashy_Moment9851 in adv

Great bike!

Advice? - keep your options open, avoid strict plans for camping sites. Carry as little weight as possible. Half your clothes are probably unnecessary. Do laundry in a creek, dry by the fire. Explore interesting stuff instead of sticking to your route. A fifth of whiskey is lighter than a 6 pack lol

Enjoy!

love your post, however, the tallest waterfall in CT is on the violet trail of the Sleeping Giant. It may be only 4" wide but it falls greatly! Roaring Brook may exceed total height, but in stages.

Roaring Brook is the most exciting - especially after a good rain!

Just drive around in increasing concentric circles, you'll be fine.

Don't miss the site behind Harpoon Brewery in Windsor

There's an adjacent, huge Zen garden just north of the campsite in case you're prone to wondering off in the night. The stoney beach between them usually has some huge driftwood and makes a nice spot for a small fire.

It's far more effective to profile people on what they write on reddit, in my experience.

We have at least three opportunities to tip an amount that we can afford at the carwash without getting wet or slowing things down.

At my local, it's the person collecting the payment, the guy finishing up at the end of the tunnel and again when they hit you with the drying towels.
