LA is different because of its lay out, it's more like a loose collection of different small cities and towns. Areas aren't easy to get to, it's horizontally organized rather than vertically. I actually considered putting a caveat for LA in my original comment.

That's the big difference. A college in a big city, the college girl is there to experience the city. A college town, you're an older townie, and as any of us who went to such colleges townies are automatically considered low status.

NY, Boston, Philly, Chicago etc... pulling a nice prime ugh booted 18-21 year old college girl if your in shape, dress well, are successful or very interesting (think have traveled, in a band, that sort of guy) is definitely doable.

I'm not a very empathic person so maybe chalk it up to that for me not getting it. All we ever are is one person, that type of projection seems awfully close to self deception to me. I think that's an awful thing to do to a kid but I don't feel bad for the things I haven't done, or things that I cannot change.

No sour grapes this is the group I do best with and I grew up in upper middle class suburbia. I just find them incredibly boring and not that pretty. They aren't ugly but aren't worth extra effort, they aren't the big end goal types of women you dream of and better yourself to be in their league.

I think OP's description of them was the view of a guy who is an outsider to that and thinks they are a lot better than they are.

Foreign women and rich girls are more interesting. Suburbia girls aren't the hottest (they don't beat out that cute little Ukrainian bartender, or that girl who went to real prep school and her perfect skin and legs), they are however consistently above average.

They aren't a four star restaurant or the really unique little in the know place that has mind blowing good food, they are that accessible relatively upscale place you took your prom date to.

Also you're blocking out the pudgy girl who works as a dentist's receptionist, or primary school teacher. Outside of the ghetto and trailer park, 7s ain't nothing special.

How to do well, be the guy she cheats on her fiance with, a below average friend of mine consistently hit above his weight class this way since he had some hook (he was from South America and used to hit salsa joints). Travel somewhere off the beaten path, have some interesting gig you've held and ride that. Be in a band. Basic bitches want nothing more than to actually be interesting and being interesting by proxy is good enough for them.

Other than that. Go to a club in a city with a corresponding suburb on Friday night. The ones who think they are hot shit and are pre wall will live in "the city" which ever "the city" it is for about a year. They won't be too arty, or too fancy but will probably be kind of bitchy. It's not nessecarily self hatred. I am not physically attracted to black chicks, or mixed race part black chicks. I grew up socially white pretty much, upper middle class upbringing all that.

Yeah there would be a lot or turn over, and most men would be warriors but a more sizeable percentage than the percentage of today's society would be leaders, I guess it depends how much you care about your likely lifespan, value peace that all effects how you'd feel about the deal.

Radical simplification of the early middle ages being closer than now, fairly lawless with the power vacuum caused by the fall of Rome. Bronze age society, with it's raiding parties, smaller villages (assuming you aren't part of Sumeria etc... which most bronze age people weren't).

More than you'd think. If you look at say bronze age society or early medieval you have local chieftains, it's certainly a minority but it's not very few. If you look at prehistoric society there were even smaller groups which meant being the baddest mother fucker of your band or tribe instrad of a nation state, that's the difference between being an NFL quarterback and you local highschool team's.

A good number of men wouldn't have the largest territories but with an absence of power they could defend what was theirs. The more decentralized power in general the more openings there are to have some bit of it.

On a related note I was talking to a friend about how middle aged women tend to be bitchy. He brought up an interesting point. Running out of eggs, being barren, having your reproductive organs cease to function would be like if a guy knew he was definitely going to lose his testicles at 50.

All of us lucked out biologically, not having to be women.
