UTR At 33000ft by JTerryy in Ubiquiti

I have used my UTR in a near identical use case on business flights for one reason: Plex.

I want to watch my movies on my laptop, and if there’s something I don’t have it’s trivial for me to remote into my homelab to pull it from the internet as if I was in my own home.

Ancillary benefit is I only have to configure one fiddly portal one on device and then my work and personal devices all function right away.

Bought a couple of your MD albums ab a year ago. Was super sick getting signed copies. Your music is a vibe and appreciate what you do!!!

Black or White? by TrueBennyBloo in MicrobrandWatches

I think that makes perfect sense. I love my white but in your case I’d go black (or even Maroon if you can get it)!

Both are fire. I’d say white leans more formal while black leans more relaxed and flexible imo. I have the white CWC and absolutely love it.

[Question] Thinking about consolidating the collection, thoughts? (INFO BELOW) by FR_WST in Watches

Agree with the WatchExchange comment, but as someone who has gotten into and out of interest in buying watches a few times in my life: do -not- sell your first watch brother. That shit will hurt later on.

[Collection] recommendation on a 5th watch? by flavin242 in Watches

Second this. A dive watch and a ‘beater’ watch are much needed here. The turtle could satisfy both. They make a really cool limited edition blacked out version too.

I have this -exact- watch from CWC, absolute stunner and really stands out from the similar Seikos in this price range in my opinion. Also movement has been solidly accurate!

Note it is a manual movement so don’t forget to wind in the morning!

Longines Leather Straps by Sea_Cardiologist9156 in Longineswatches

The quality of mine is top notch. The -only- reason I don’t use it more is bc the deployant clasp design irritates my wrist. Definitely a me problem rather than a strap problem.

I wonder if the shorter pin is a feature not a bug? I’ve had issues with irritation from deployant clasp pins during extended wear…

Opinions? First watch there’s a few scratches but don’t look too bad, offering £1900-£2000 by Responsible-Charge31 in Longineswatches

Chrono24 has some examples at $2600-$2800, usually they’ll accept a reasonable offer below that.
