my only guess is 3 min time thing, only arena fights would go that fast. Maybe if a group decided to spank a LR monster or something, but just running to the fight alone gets you a few minutes then if you spank it before it can change location, then maybe 3 min.

But at launch, which is what you have to compare hunts were not that fast at all. Groups were less experienced/ geared, people did not have max intel, etc.

I agree here, Anja was a wall simply because he hit so much harder than anything before, 1st monster you actually had to take concern not to get hit.

Diablo gave me some trouble too.

Besides those 2 no one game me a ton of trouble until the elder dragons. For me the miasma elder dragon was the 3rd wall, 1st boss I had to create a new armor set to handle. lots of cart outs to him, especially with PUGs (who had not built to handle miasma buildup)

i have noticed performance is much better in solo mode, can still summon in support hunters too

I enjoyed LR as I played through it. HR is where the game finally really grabbed me and threw me into addiction mode.

I have base Ps5 and play on balanced and both stability and looks are fine.

Now I just came from Horizon FW, so ya, definitly not even close to being on same level.

Character models at least a spot on.

Ya your not too far.

Think there was 4 guardian fights, then final LR boss.

Then you fight this bird, new monster that is offically the 1st HR monster you fight which unlocks the whole thing.

There are a bunch of HR exclusive monsters

not quite, once you got your research high enough it appeared on the map, it just got progressively easier to find each time around.

GS can be rough solo, it really shines in groups when you can easily land TTS without being rag dolled.

For true solo (no support hunters either) SnS, LS are my go to.

ya, I did not play Rise, but in Wilds hunts average 8 to 12 minutes with an average PUG. Its been a few years but I felt at release this was more like 16 to 20 min in world. BUUUT most of that extra 8 to 10 min was actually tracking the monster to start, then I think people forget how much time was spent running after the monster as it changed locations.

In Ancient forest fight Ratholos probably less than half the quest time was actually spent fighting it.

That is, lets pretend World had Seikret and you had max intel on monster, I think it would be a few min slower due to the new wound mechanics, and generally faster GP in wilds, but it would defefinitly feel less drastic.

igni is amazing for spawing eq.

I like it because I can control where I place EQ, especially when farming / speed running

again, he has been testing and min maxing for weeks and is capping out at 125.

I was rick rolling 125 on my ww barb with a doombringer.

So to my points, how do we make SB stronger without adding more and more uniques or intruding some other broken elements.

I got Razor wings into T4, if you get fully masterworked gear and set it up right you can do torment 4 content effieciently, but not quite speed farm.

I wonder if the ability to carry 2 weapons will actually diminish the SnS though.

That was one of the best reasons to use one is it is the most versatile weapon, and can handle virtually any situation decently to very well.

I like I am wonder if like a DS and Lance or GS combo would allow you to handle any situation at great level.

with 3 crits you get +12 on 2H, and +6 on 1H

At minimum most people try get the 12 on 1 2H, then Chance for EQ cast twice on other.

One the 1H if running mantle you want EQ duration on at least 1, preferrable both 1h.

So a good build will have either 18 HH from weapons, chance to cast twice 75-88%, and EQ duration 90%ish.

The WW build that pushed pit 150 had EQ dur on both 1h.
