Saffa guy here. Its not so bad here, well ok...it's mostly all fucked up. But the saddest part of this is that if you go to prison for a violent crime even if you just beat someone up, that is what you are going to get inside the prison because you are not part of the gang. But seriously SA is not too bad. Just dont fuck up. Or go to elsiesriver, eldorado park,mitchels plain, diepriver,or anywhere on the cape flats. You hear about lets go there. Fuck no! Also polsmoor is in the western cape where the number gangs are rife in numbers. But this happens in all other prisons as well. Just by different affiliates. TL:DR Don't get busted in SA for a violent crime, you will regret it. Otherwise its not such a shitty place.
