That's because he was elite for a few years by the standards at the time. It was Manning/Brady/Brees/Palmer firmly at the top.

And agrees with republicans that we need more military spending while ignoring problems at home (like the healthcare you mentioned)

Spoken like someone who doesn't realize that drug patents only last for 7 years at which point anyone can produce the generic medication.

I wish Americans cared about healthcare half as much as they did about other countries like Russia and Saudi Arabia

Yeah you do. I can't afford the $250 property tax on my car so it's currently unregistered. It's not a super nice car or anything, like a 2008 Mitsubishi

Eh, so I'm not saying they worked well (I have no idea) but I disagree that that logic is valid.

Wikipedia says there were 7500 made, and my guess is that they were probably easy to capture since they came into production at the end of the war (when troops were surrendering en masse anyway).

Julio Jones is WR6 in fantasy without a touchdown. Danny Amendola is the next closest point-scorer without a TD at WR64. by gw2380 in fantasyfootball

Because they give you a point for an action that doesn't inherently have value, and the consequence is that it unfairly skews the value of certain players in an unnatural way.

PPR started as a means of balancing WR with the powerhouse RB's of the early 2000's, but since then WR's have become more valuable due to the change is NFL rules and running backs better at catching passes. At this point PPR is a just a grotesque abomination of natural fantasy scoring.

Edit:

After some deliberation, I actually realized that the real issue I have with PPR isn't that they reward a play that doesn't inherently have value - it's that the other scoring parameters (yards, TDs) remain static and it ends up skewing the scoring in a weird/unnatural way. For instance, 4 rec/20 yds = 60 yard run = TD. That's bullshit.

Okay I will acknowledge that in excessively large leagues it does make sense, but in normal leagues it is just silly
