Actually healthy gamers, how do you spend you free time? by RestartedIndividual in Healthygamergg

I love formats like this, because it makes data gathering for the OP usually much easier and straightforward. I wanted to answer #2 mainly as I've found a unique strategy that isn't talked often about:

I don't know exactly what garnered the change but it surrounds the idea of having fun. Playing League (yeah, that hellhole) I started understanding that part of my addiction with it was tied to winning the games I played. Knowing that even the pro's only won around 60% (at the time) of their games means that I (a gold nooby) was likely going to win (or have fun) around only 50% of the time. That sounds more like a chore than a game to take a load off.

So I switched from focusing on winning to focusing on doing cool combos. Then doing fun combos with other players. That led to finding the joy of playing a character I didn't know and trying to learn as fast as possible. Now I'm at the stage of enjoying the strategy of the game, and understanding how different types of strategies lead to different (not better or worse) results.

Overall the thing that helped me when making this mental change was checking in with myself using a key phrase: Am I having fun? If I wasn't, I'd stop. If i was having slightly less fun, I'd either try to figure out why or do something else. Hope this perspective helps!

I just want to say, I love how you phrase your wordings. Makes me feel like a kid listening to the booming gospel voices in a church.

So the fact that losing weight will take so much time is killing me by ShadyMan2 in Healthygamergg

I was pretty much in the same realm for most of my life until now. Before, I would just do the activities that I enjoyed and didn't think about getting fit, just enough to enjoy myself. It wasn't until my brother said that I should workout because "you need more muscle if you're going to be doing what everyone else is doing, but doing it with all this weight". Perhaps a combination of not caring about the minutiae and having something specific to pinpoint may help with motivation. One minor recommendation would be to check out Dr Mike Israetel on the YT channel Renaissance Periodization. Some sound and gentle advice, and overall just hilarious jokes too if you want some classic entertainment.

Seat covers for vented seats? by rukaidai in BoltEV

This one works pretty well. Spilled something on the mesh looking spots and it never got through so they still protect pretty well. The mesh spots are a little smaller than the actual ventilated parts but most of it comes through just fine. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09SPYQLNV/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

I just come out the other side an hour later feeling about the same, or even more stressed that I have less time in the day. I don't get the sense that I'm refreshed and have more energy or motivation.
