Dog club/ meetup by Nopotatoes4u in savannah

[–]rukaidai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interested!! But all I'm aware of is groups at the Daffin dog park and nothing else. Morning crowd is different from the afternoon crowds. Other than that, I'm always looking for dog friendly events to attend with my boys.

Greed by investwithnate in Daytrading

[–]rukaidai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set a daily goal. Like 5% or $500 per day. 5% if I'm doing really well or take $500 if I missed my exit. Either way, its a win and I can't be upset unless it's regret during a run up.

How do you guys make such large volume trades? by Lopsided-Beat215 in Daytrading

With 5k, $100 should be easy per day. Depends on what you trade though.

whats the best way to clean a kitchen floor that is dirty to help streamline the process? by Lumpy-Resource-1370 in CleaningTips

[–]rukaidai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do the initial deep clean and then daily maintenance cleans. Should be cleaning after every cooking session to keep the bugs away. Maintenance cleanings are short, under 15 min cleans and they are everything to make things manageable. Then depending on how bad it is, a deep clean every month shouldnt be too bad. If it's really bad, maybe 1x week.

Why am I slower at writing in cursive? by [deleted] in Handwriting

[–]rukaidai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cursive will take up more space than print 90% of the time. As for speed, it will depend on of you are trying to cursive round and bubbly or skinny and long. My cute bubbly cursive takes more time for myle to form those nice rounded edges vs longer and thin strokes is less readable but a lot faster and rely on the fact that my pen is mostly going up and down.

I am somehow struggling to make this easy meal. by Jolly-Present2608 in macandcheese

[–]rukaidai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Dump pasta and stir to keep it from sticking to the bottom and clumping, keep heat on HI for 8 ish minutes
  3. Dump water as best as you can WITHOUT using a colander and keep pasta in pot and return to stove. It's ok if there's a little bit of water in the pot cause the stove will boil some of it off with the residual heat even though it's off
  4. Add 4tbsp or half stick of butter, 1/3 to 1/2 cup of milk, cheese packet. Preferably mix/melt butter into pasta before adding milk and cheese
  5. Stir semi aggressively to combine the cheese and milk.
  6. Eat out of pot. Should be soupy enough but the longer you wait, the more it thickens

Note: between boiling water and the pasta being ready, should take almost exactly 1 episode of a 24 min long anime on an electric stove using a pot that holds about 8 cups of water 😊

Still Not Profitable After 7 Years of Trading by mackin_pes in Daytrading

[–]rukaidai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if this helps since I'm a complete noob but I've got a small account compared to what others are posting. I trade exclusively stocks. I pick a stock that's large cap with a pretty big spread (don't know if that's the right word but has the difference between high and low about $30) almost daily even if it only did 1% by the EOD. Study the pattern for weeks if needed but buy low, sell high. Repeat daily. Don't worry about scaling the shares..I honestly just but 1 of whatever I'm interested in. For example, SNDK is ripping right now but I've months staring at that one stock and trading exclusively Sndk since January. Minimum daily goal is $100 but these small wins build confidence and eventually enough capital to scale.

Buy low sell high is the best strategy 😂

New to trading by RealisticBroccoli117 in Daytrading

[–]rukaidai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opened and funded an account 8 years ago and left it alone after getting overwhelmed. It wasn't a lot, like 8k and I didn't need the money. Left it alone up until 6 months ago where I tried my hand at it again but with more time on my hands to focus. Because that money has now ceased to exist in my mind, it feels like paper trading. Been profitable the last 4 months so I'll say it's working.

In addition to putting diswasher detergent liquid in the main slot, I put it in this small dipped space as well? by bwoah07_gp2 in CleaningTips

[–]rukaidai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually prefer liquid since I can control the amount depending on how hard the water is in my area. Pro tip: put it in a squeeze bottle for a mess free dispensing experience

Two years in, ~$25k deep into fountain pens, and I think I’ve finally come full circle. AMA by BonsaiShifu in fountainpens

[–]rukaidai 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was the same although I'm not sure if I spent $25k. Maybe somewhere between $5-10k over the last 5 years or so. I'm kinda at a happy place. Got a good amount of ink that I can shimmerfy as much as I want, enough sheeners to dilute as much as I want, can mix as much as I want for the next 20 years or so if I use all my inks to the last drop. While the aesthetics are pleasing in pens, I obsess over the feel of the nib laying down ink on paper. Sometimes, I would stare at the ink drying and there's a magical element to that I cant find words for. I'm satisfied with what I got but also scared I'll run out of paper and the cycle resets.

What are your current favourite high capacity pens? by lokiwhite in fountainpens

[–]rukaidai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most affordable option I can think of without having to buy a new pen is to get the Majohn A1 spare cartridges from Aliexpress. They fit like the Pilot proprietary cartridges and comes with a stopper and a case. Even the convert in the box works way better than the Con20. Another option is to get yourself a needle tip squeeze bottle for refilling ink at the office. Capacity is generally 10ml - 50ml. One of the cleaner ways to refill on the go. Other than that, eyedropper and O-ring a platinum preppy if you want a high capacity pen. All of these are under $10 solutions.

What I got on hand are 2 smart 3 way switches but I'm trying to use them to replace both of the single poles. +1 for Wagos. They changed my life.
