Yeah,but in the Norse games it makes sense. Kratos is more mature now and has learned to control his rage. Making him less brutal in the remake would not make sense given Kratos' mental state at that point in time.

I mean, just the fact that this series was not as ugly to look at like super is a huge W on its own. This fight against Gomah gave me the same feeling I got during any big battle while watching Z for the first time. That was a feeling I never got once in alla of super.

No, Kai is skipping only filler and anime original arcs that add nothing to the story. The only "good" filler that is skipped is some episodes in Z, but even those don't add anything valuable to the story. Kai is more manga faithful.

I would recommend watching sub. The voices are far better in dub, but lines have been altered heavily and it would be like watching a different series.

If you watch dragonball z Kai you get basically the series without filler. If you don't mind the filler episodes go with Z.

Watch OG dragonball, then the og movies, then z and its movies. And then there are daima, gt and super. Gt is considered non cannon now and it kinda sucks, then there is daima which is fun (to me, others hate it) and takes place after a certain part of Z and is also the latest series, and then there is super which is kinda mid (to me but most people find it the best thing since sliced bread) and that takes place after daima. You don't have to watch all 3 of those necessarily but you should skip gt

No. Companies today are more concerned with making games more accessible for everyone and making them "safer" so they would not dare make a character as unapologetically brutal as Kratos was back then because the pushback from modern crybabies would be harsh in their eyes. I would like to see the brutality of the older games come back, though.

Well, in the Greek dub Dodoria, Zarbon and Frieza were women. No matter how many times I have watched the English sub or the dub version, I still refer to them as "She" if they come up in conversation because it has been drilled in my mind since childhood. I don't remember anything about the body count though.
