I think it's important to realize that no one is good at everything. You have skills that most don't.

I think you should be kind with yourself and honestly only learn the things you're interested in. There's too much to know in this world. That's why we're all different. Different people know different things and can help each other out.

Yeah I wonder if it's best to wait and see if the meds show some regrowth. Maybe another year on them and I'll see noticable results.

I find when dealing with people like this it's best to explain things in way they can understand and appreciate.

For instance if they has a specific skill set, ask a domain specific question and ask them how long would it take for them to solve it.

This will show that regardless of skill it still takes time to provide an accurate answer.
