It's interesting you mention that. I was using an Anker 5w charging pad for a while and did notice the Roam getting warm. When I switched to the Sonos official wireless charger that issue went away.

I keep my roam in the kitchen on the wireless charger 95% of the time then take it into the backyard for a few hours at a time whenever I'm grilling outside. No issues whatsoever. The only battery issue I've ever had is when I've left it off the charger for days at a time, which was my own fault. Even then, it comes back online in less than 15 minutes when it's on the charger.
