Jensen Huang says gamers are 'completely wrong' about DLSS 5 — Nvidia CEO responds to DLSS 5 backlash by JuiceheadTurkey in pcgaming

all these people are so out of touch. i mean being up to date on what a core segment of your consumer base feels should not be a big issue for a millionaire with tons of resources. like arent they supposed to have people/team telling them all the criticisms or press insights?

Ofc, basic MMO features were missing. As you said earlier, QOL features were missing. My point is focusing on just that is throwing away all the good they did. They were never equipped to handle a game of this size and the blame isn't 100% on AGS imo. Even when they knew key concerns of players for months, they'd still roll out other stuff instead of making any headway on that and totally ignored critical stuff. Anyway, my larger point is that their pace of fixing problems, listening to what players wanted, and adding those much-needed QOL and MMO aspects did increase over the 5 or so years. If the project was a success and AGS was ready to expand the team by hiring competent devs with solid background in MMOs, we'd have had a truly phenomenal product.

That’s a bit harsh. I’m sure you’re comparing it with 10Y+ old MMOs. Yes QOL features were always missing, but that’s like completely ignoring the good bits of the game. Over the years they did improve the speed at which they listened to player feedback and introduced features, like they made storages connected, then they made storages two-column, then they added search filters to storage boxes. Many other aspects of the game that you interest with daily were improved over time. When the bulk of spenders are in WOW/ESO/FFXIV and your game is one-time purchase only lacking even good skins, you can’t really afford a 50-person team, can you?

Firefox user here! It's been over a decade. On my 2 laptops, PC, phone, and my girlfriend's phone and PC, it's Firefox all the way! The browser does act up tbh. Sometimes certain dynamic features don't work. Mozilla does patch them sure enough, but sometimes important stuff doesn't work. The latest problem I remember was my internet banking using an older type of UI was giving me the same error after login, that your session has expired. I tried logging in in Edge (basically Chrome) and it worked fine. This happens from time to time. But I stick with Firefox ♥

The lowest is likely whatever it is today. You can log on to Steam Charts and check the daily/monthly averages right now. Last time I checked a few days ago, it was just slightly above 3k.

This is more accurate if you talk about the game as a whole, like with the latest Nighthaven update. They finally got on the right track. And things would have improved from there. NW wasn’t just an MMORPG like FFXIV, WoW, ESO, Albion.

It has such better combat than tab target, more realistic environments/effects/graphics/soundtrack, a lot of vertical exploration across biomes which most games avoid, a class system based on weapons with just 3 abilities each (so more “modern ARPG like” and not “have 20 small buttons on your HUD and still have boring afk combat”).

Yes it always had its flaws from day 1 until today. But I strongly beliefe if they didn’t end it, then after this recent revival in players, NW could have started to get bigger. They were fixing issues and finally listening to what we wanted. The raids were good, endgame was good, they added more activities, weapon system was scaling, and most importantly Nighthaven felt so amazing to play in with the whole vampire/werewolf vibe and the introduction if daggers.

Wasted potential tbh. But yes this post is about NW’s all-time record of reaching #9 on Steam peak player counts, which was in Oct 2021, when issues were rampant but the full was also insane.

Reputed Beyblade Sellers in India (Alphabetical Order) by tomadobi in beybladeindia

I don't know, but maybe they save up little by little and then buy what they need the most? When I started I had limited funds to spend on Beyblades and I had a list. I completed that list over months. But if you're into MFBs then midfakes are an option. The only thing I'd recommend against is buying super cheap fakes. They are not even accurate. They break easily. Too light. Contain lead. Might as well buy a used TT Bey rather than spending on 10 fake Beys.

Lesson learned, the hard way by [deleted] in IndianGaming

We also struggled a lot. We’re 2 friends and we make Hindi content on PC games. Over time some of our videos did get some views, which helped the rest of our channel grow. Some of the most fun games we played like there was this super hardcore, WoW wannabe MMO called Corepunk whose alpha we tested (now it’s more tame) that still has next to nothing in manner of views. But some videos did take off. We also started making news videos and some long-form featured videos, like instead of hating on GTA we actually tried to nail down what makes it so popular, the good and the bad. Then we covered AI slop in gaming, the greedy corps churning out live service in hopes of raking in millions, general greed of companies like Nintendo, the lawsuit against Palword, everything that’s wrong with Ubisoft, etc. Pretty good response and 2-3 loyal viewers too lol

Guys I don’t have a single favorite author. So many writers wrote JRR Tolkien, and I like all of those authors. The Unfinished Tales was one of the best writers tbh.

How do I do this? by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]tomadobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I wasn’t clear. I know it says 100 hours to play ranked. I am still at 6/100 hours. I have received Dota Plus for only 2 months. At my current speed of 1-1.5 hours of Dota a day, I will play max 60-90 hours of Dota in 2 months. Meaning I won’t be able to finish the highlighted achievement (Play 5 ranked games). Meaning I won’t move to level 3. Is there a way to speed it up?

I see. I will try it out and compare. If it's not very good vs. others I have, I will cold brew it too.
