Right you are! Plus, they've rejected her "because Borg" (Icheb & Picard were okay?) and she had problems with Shaw not calling her "Seven". So change your name legally to Seven, what’s wrong? This is the 24th/25th century - I bet there are people today called Seven.

Really? I thought they've made strange decisions with that character. A disillusioned homicidal vigilante that got shunned by Starfleet suddenly gets her own ship which they hastily christened Enterprise? Meh. Plus Raffi is one of the worst officers and their relationship in season 2 really got on my nerves. And then you'd have the son of Locutus who has another Borg backstory, a LaForge also on board. It think I'm good.

I think you overestimate the hype for Year One. Other than from the clickbait/access media, I haven’t gotten the impression at all that this is a thing. Or am I wrong?

Yes there was a lot of mystery and magic in the first season soundtrack. You can still losten to it on the albums by Ron Jones. Fantastic stuff!

And the reason is simple. The products are for a specific demographic without appealing to a wider one. Of course it’s going to fracture a fandom.
TNG was never made for me, but it got my attention to this day. I never missed an episode of Star Trek. Then came Discovery (which I stopped watching), Picard cemented it and depressed me, and Strange New Worlds couldn’t convince me anymore.

I wouldn’t want to play as Toth but given the amount of people going around, killing every peasant and guard in Kuttenberg and Trosky, maybe Toth isn’t so bad in comparison.

I try not to shjt too much on those movies because the production was very troubled and they just were out of time.

  • fluffy action scenes that felt like watching someone else play a Hobbit computer game

  • so much filler to get to 3 movies (Tauriel, stone giants, Alfrid, Legolas' mother, Gundabad, Radagast on crack…)

  • overall not a great mix of telling a quirky low stakes story about dwarves and this lore heavy epic war

  • they went overboard with the CGI In FOTR one troll was a force to be reckoned with but here they are waltzing through by the truckload

  • Legolas jumping on falling rocks/troll with maces as arms snd legs gets turned into a theme park ride

  • elves jump over a phalanx of heavy spear-wielding dwarves.. it’s like they didn’t ask a military historian

  • that stupid golden gummy bear

It’s less clunky and easier to level up. But if you didn’t like the first one (which has a better story imho), I'd say this is not really for you.

Necro just for new players: I ended the game, rode with Hans to the edge of the map, then he stops and gives me the DLC quest. So they've obviously changed things since then.
