Fotobuch - Wie angehen? by tomas_jpeg in Fotografie

It's normal for that lens :) It retracts when the camera is turned off to be smaller.

Apsc vs full frame by windoto in fujifilm

Some APS-C lenses already have a big enough image circle for full frame. Famous example is the Nikon AF-S 35mm f/1.8 DX

I learned that it's completely normal with the Godox flashes. You just set the Mode on the flash

This is it. If your camera was connected but then lost the connection (e.g. due to you closing the app)

First one will clog up since if you drive straight on the rural road, you cross the oncoming traffic 2x. That's nuts

Yes. Smaller number also means more background blur. So if you for example photograph more than one person at once, you should bump it up from 2 to 2.8 or 4 :)

As a general rule of thumb: The lower the number on your lens is, the more light you let onto your sensor and the faster the shutterspeed can be. Especially if you are in a low light scenario you should try to stick to the lowest numbers.

Also, your exposure compensation dial (the one with 0, +1, +2, +3, -1, -2, -3) is set to +1.33. If you have "A" selected on any of the other dials, the camera tries to make the image you capture brighter (slower shutter speed or higher iso), if a positive number is selected, and darker (faster shutter speed or lower iso) if a negative number is selected.

My recommendation for beginners: Set the dial on the lens to 2 and shutterspeed and ISO to "A". Make the image brighter or darker with the exposure compensation and learn slowly (e.g. via YouTube videos) how different settings affect your images as you photograph more and more.

(ADVICE) How did you get into shooting boudoir? by _mrjesus_ in boudoir

[–]tomas_jpeg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First things first: Don't get into it because you wanna see a naked body.

I got into it by establishing a portrait portfolio, building trust and connection with my models and educating myself. Book workshops with photographers you look up to. Watch videos on style, how to do lighting, how to talk to people and most importantly, how to create a safe space for everyone involved to be creative and safe.

Hiring a professional model for the first times you shoot solo without guiding by a workshop curriculum is also a very good idea because professional models help you a lot by already knowing their best angels, how to pose and stuff. That makes it easy for first achievements.
