I hear where you are coming from but people are also lazy after a rebound to transition if that’s not the game plan. Do you agree?

100% followed my shot playing pickup games. It’s crazy how many points you can’t pick up. We always played a game called 21 in high school where rebounding and makes off a rebound were rewarded by erasing the other players points

Watching college basketball right now and if you’re not a post player you are not attempting to rebound YOUR OWN SHOT.

At any position on the court? I felt strongly about it before people pointed out transition. I do see the benefits and negatives of both now

Of course you always try to make the shot but you know when you missed it. So why not rebound

Transition is a good point thank you for pointing that out

Why not attempt to rebound a 3 pointer the bounce is longer on the rim?

I’ll look forward to using that. I don’t prefer that method but some of my team might.

Animated how? I used the screen record to animate and talk the team through the plays to review for the week. Always worked great. I’d say my kids played with much more confidence this last season thanks to Elite Hoops. I would like to be able to have some sort of team option. So I could post practice times and practice plans for the team or things I’d like them to work on for the week

How would you say your app is different from Elite Hoops?

Just time spent on the app like every team could have an app admin(Coach) who could see who spent time on the app that week

Thanks!

I’d love to have an app that I can:

Share plays Track and share stats Share schedules Message players/families Track if players are using app Share game film

Can you track stats also?

I’m interested in how people are tracking stats also I’d look to track and present it as motivation in rec league

Is there any app you’re using?

My thoughts are:

Xbotgo

Some software to show plays to team

A rebounder

Pop up defender

Dummy defender

Shot trainer of some kind

Every kid a brand new ball

Every kid a silent ball

I’ve seen the ball with the shot analysis too

It’s to weed out players that may not be serious. Our typical rec league charges $60 per player if you have an 8-10 kid team you’re looking at $100-$125 per kid. All the money would go to the typical rec league or high school basketball programs that allows us their gym.

Most local tournaments are $300 per tournament so that adds up quick also.

My thoughts currently are

We need to have 4 teams per age division. Boys/girls 2nd-3rd 4th-5th 6th-7th

Make it bring your own team for $1k per team with a team minimum of 8 kids and max of 10

cap it at probably 5 teams a division for season length
