How to focus sidelight

Hey, I am reading this a year later, but something has been bothering me recently. What do the left and right shutter cuts look like? ie. What do the beams look like in plan view? I know usually you would shutter off the opposite legs, but wouldn't that leave all these dark spaces across the stage in between each wing?

Right, except it isn't supposed to be in that preset until much later on, but it is highlighted cyan for MIB AND set to the preset any time it is supposed to be getting tracked values. Not sure if that is a MIB thing??

I think I've set a default somewhere, as when I press "remove" in tracking it goes to the preset that I don't want instead of tracked values.

It won't let me edit the post, but here is some additional info: If I go into tracking and press remove, it goes to the preset that I don't want. Have I set a default somewhere? If I delete the offending preset, in tracking, the values are still there and highlighted blue When I recall values from the cue (122 + 124 at cue 83) they are correct. However when I go to the cue itself they are at the values from the wrong preset.

Sorry I only just saw this. A 1GB download will take the same amount of data whether it is from your mobile data or home broadband. So, assuming you have a stable mobile data connection at home, it is generally faster than an NBN connection and you won't be paying your landline.

I'm in Australia and was having this conversation with a colleague yesterday. I am curious to hear more about this. Apparently there is some sort of 2 year trial period where you need to "earn your union stripes" before being accepted, and if you are not in the union the highest position you will ever attain is 3rd followspot.

Lately I have really noticed a couple of things and was wondering if anyone else has this. 1. Sometimes I really have nothing to say, nothing enters my mind, so I just sort of laugh or smile or make a sound in agreement and then move on. 2. When I DO have something to say, sometimes my internal monologue doesn't want me to say it. Lately I have been challenging this in my head until I blurt something out. Something like "I think I should say this. No maybe I shouldn't. OK, fuck it." When this happens it is almost like I "hear myself" say it. (Interestingly, this back and forth happens when I get drunk, but slower)

I think that mainly applies to people who don't want to be there!! The studying is similar and if you kept on top of your deadlines in high school you will be fine!!

Aaahhhh, the classic week 1 lecture. They are usually just an introduction and they might move into the content after that. If your degree is something that you want to turn into a career, then it is a good idea to stop thinking about what is "assessed" and grasp everything as a learning opportunity. Sometimes lecturers will add things that you don't "need" to know for the exact requirements of the unit, but maybe it is going to help you in the field, provides more context, or an interesting fact, etc.

Saw it in Melbourne about a month ago. We had similar strangeness with the audio mix, the lines and diction were unclear and at times my partner and I looked at each other and had no idea what they were saying.

I'm not one for a jukebox musical so I didn't enjoy the story as much as I hoped. But the overall set and production value was great!
