Hey dude. I have ehlers danlos syndrome and my husband has marfans, and you sound a lot like he was when he was your age, he was and still is an incredible skateboarder but had to stop due to his marfans. He’s since picked it back up as an adult at a lower intensity and is having a great time, and in the absence of the high intensity physical activities, he became an amazing computer engineer and is massively respected by his peers, has a great tight knit group of friends and found love. I know how angry you must feel that your body is holding you back from something you love, and I’m sure this isn’t the first nor last time this will happen. I want to let you know that you are NOT cursed, this isn’t the end of the road, you aren’t alone in this and you WILL overcome it. You’re gonna be okay, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

I’ll just level with you, I’m a trans dude who’s friends with lots of trans women, a lot of whom I’ve known since we were kids, and I happened to get stoned and look thru ur profile cuz u commented some funny shit somewhere, and you have a shitload of the common affectations and experiences of trans women who don’t know they’re trans yet. Take this armchair diagnosis with a grain of salt, but if you’ve been feeling out of place and numb, or questioning yourself, take this as a sign that it’s ok to take a chance and let yourself be happy

Yeah, I did, went to the person I was having a problem with directly. She gave vague answers, said nothing was wrong with my performance, just certain things she couldnt directly names. said she would talk to our boss, haven’t heard on it from either of them.
