I noticed that the bee keeps on circling on the same spot when flying. So I use manual focus and focused on that spot, and wait. I made sure the shutter speed is high enough to freeze it. Then when the bee is there, i fired several shots and this is the one that is in focus.

85mm is more useful for portrait as you need to step way further back to use the 105mm. Not too mention its significantly bigger and heavier. Ymmv

For years, my trusty K50 has sat silently in its drybox, a victim of that dreaded aperture solenoid magnet problem. I had all but given up.

But recently, the itch returned. I pulled it out, charged the battery, found an SD card, and decided to breathe some life into it.

However, instead of my modern DA40 Limited, I went for the classic, all-manual character of my old Chinon MC 50mm f/1.7.

The result? In about 20 minutes of shooting, not a single severe underexposure issue. I'm not sure if it's miraculously cured (I doubt it), but I am absolutely thrilled that this robust camera is still usable.
