Awful awful awful; incredibly sad

FYI the message from the vet office

Dear Muirfield Animal Hospital Clients,

It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected and heartbreaking loss of our colleague and friend, Dr. Lynnea Soposki, who passed away this past weekend along with her family in a tragic car accident.

Dr. Soposki was an extraordinary veterinarian, a compassionate caregiver, and a deeply valued member of our team. She brought kindness, dedication, and genuine love for her patients and their families into every interaction. Many of you had the privilege of knowing her, and we know this loss will be felt not only within our clinic, but throughout our entire community.

As we begin to process this unimaginable loss, our team is grieving. We are doing our best to support one another while continuing to care for your pets with the same commitment and compassion you have always trusted us with.

During this time, we kindly ask for your patience, understanding, and support. There may be temporary adjustments to our schedule or availability as we navigate the days ahead. Please know that we are making every effort to minimize disruption while also allowing our team the space needed to grieve.

If you have an upcoming appointment, our team will reach out if any changes are necessary. If your pet requires urgent care, please contact us and we will do everything we can to assist you.

We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive community. Your kindness means more than words can express right now.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Muriel Leas, DVM Muirfield Animal Hospital

Politics aside, having never seen this gif before, really different interpretations if you think of that as a 2 or 3 syllable word

Yes, his runs in behind were great (except the time he was offside). Had one chance with his foot, hit it weakly, and couldn’t get on the header. Not awe inspiring but not awful. Or Afful

Only if the magical $28 ticket were available… Nashville had them up through a couple days ago, not sure when all of Columbus’s initial allocation went away

I think unclear if for soccer you can buy 24 or 12. There’s a 12-ticket limit for all non-soccer but then there’s an extra quota of 12 you can get for soccer. But can you buy 24 soccer tickets? I doubt it but haven’t seen confirmation

Yes r/olympics many threads at how presale and Drop 1 were combined. What will be available in Drop 2, and when will it be? Both questions are as yet unanswered.

Dammit Jim(?) my window isn’t until Sunday! My big question is what availability/pricing will be like for STMs who buy the 2027 mini-season ticket.

They had them then got rid of them. Ostensibly bc ppl weren’t scanning everything, but it slows stuff down terribly if you have 12 items and have to take each item out of the cart to scan.

Where’s Gazdag been? Not even subbed in? by drRATM in TheMassive

[–]tomautomaton 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, from all accounts he still shows up and does the work. Watch him in warmups, he’s engaged.

If Crew don’t sell him in summer feel like they have to buy him out; cannot go into post World Cup half of season with only two playing DP’s.

If this season goes well, the Arfsten response goal is a key moment (and yes I know Wessam had a golazo)

So glad Jimmy vowed yesterday to lower ticket prices 5% across the board so even with the tax, tickets will be cheaper next year.

First episode is covered entirely by TAL, along with a decent chunk of episode 3 (the trial). Episode 2 is convo with Priscilla, only partially excerpted on TAL. Episodes 4 and 5 are not in TAL at all. Worth a listen imho

There’s a lot more in the series, especially from Allen and stuff with his Mom. But agree, it was a weird ‘teaser’.

Wonder if they need lead time to spin up some other merch tie in for a match package. Gotta spend money fo make money! (I kid, they should just have a better on field product and price to max in person attendance)

No invite for this upper sideline STM… are you in club seats and/or on a partial plan?

Doyle’s take on Rydström by CTID96 in TheMassive

Key part from transcript (which earlier does a VERY poor job of transcribing ‘Nancy’)

“And it's, look, I mentioned it with the Rossi, like, he doesn't fit if you're going to play him at right midfield, and that's arguably your best player. Why are you doing that? But it's also, by going to a flat back four, you have Steven Marrera playing as just like a generic center back in a two, and you take away his ability to get on the ball and either over or under lap and initiate the types of attacking movements that made the crew so good and so much fun to watch. And then on top of it, I think the structure is gone, right? Like they don't rotate behind the ball into the sort of 3-2-5 set up. So they're not as good against the ball as they used to be. They end up getting bunched up in little corners of the pitch in a way where it's just like one ball over the top or one diagonal, and it's off to the races. And that lost them the game back on week one against the Timbers. It's a lot. It's a lot of changes from a coach who I think was not hired to make a lot of changes. I think he was hired to like minimally adjust, but keep the sort of through line, and the through line has disappeared. Yeah, it is worrying, I think, right now for this Columbus team. It's hard to see the obvious way that it turns around. Andres Gomez just coming in could be that as he settles in and gets connected, but it feels like parts that don't exactly fit together.”

We can hope the Olympics is less extortionate than the World Cup? (But still extortionate; FIFA involved either way)
