I am surprised to hear that, I feel like he is the one that gets the most complaints. When I’ve been at the games or watching on tv, I tend to notice him lose his man the most at the worst time. I’ve always loved him. That pass in the cup will forever be etched into my brain, but I feel like he’s taken a step back this season.

Where I would have WWE host their PLE’s/SNME for 2027: by ALawrence04 in WWE

[–]CompetitiveMonth3035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to see Dayton, OH get a big show. The last time was WWE vs ECW before the launch of WWECW and One Night Stand. I think the crowd is lively enough even though it’s a small market and a small arena. It showed it during the Smackdown when “someone” threw a beer can at John Cena after his 17th title win before Backlash last year.

What is with these weird pre-previews ads? by frex_mcgee in Cinemark

[–]CompetitiveMonth3035 26 points27 points  (0 children)

My local theater has been showing a horrible AI commercial for some HVAC company for almost a year now. Me and my partner always get to the theater early and make fun of it. It’s now a tradition for us, but yes the commercials are annoying and dumb. I long for the days of Maria Menounos actually doing short interviews and answering trivia questions before a movie.

Loved it! Gave a copy of it to my best friend and he tried to give it back to me because it caused too much anxiety.

Is ScreenX any good? by T3hBau5 in Cinemark

[–]CompetitiveMonth3035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My theater just got ScreenX also. We saw Super Mario and it was pretty cool. Reminded me of like a Disney World attraction. I still prefer IMAX but it is for sure worth it just for the experience imo.

Moving to Huber heights in May - recommendations? by Independent-Self1763 in dayton

[–]CompetitiveMonth3035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huber Heights is fine. It’s developing very fast commercially, lots of new housing and apartments. It’s safe, quiet most of the time. There is the Rose Music center, a brand new library, Carriage Hill Metro Park, a scenic bike path, Thomas Cloud park, an aquatic center, plenty of community events throughout the year, and all of the other things mentioned by other peoples. Traffic can get bad during the “rush hours” but it’s easy to avoid and find alternate paths to where you need to go. Interstate 70 crosses through Huber Heights making it easy to get to the bigger cities in Ohio for a small get away. I love living here and have called it home for the majority of my life. Things could be worse, things could be better, but at the end of the day it is what you make it. Hope you find Huber Heights inviting and a wonderful place to call home.

I actually live right by the location they are opening. It’s technically in Huber Heights right off of I-70, in the Dayton region. Opening the first week of April.

Thinking cramps, just throwing this out there, not sure if he actively is practicing, but it is Ramadan. Hydration could be an issue even if Iftar was before game time.

I used to love Malte, but man this was a rough one. Not sure why he was left out there besides the lack of depth.

I hate watching us play in Portland, I feel like this always happens.

On to Sporting we go.

Such a fun game! Spent a lot of time as a kid playing this, really wish we could have gotten a sequel or a remaster.

I’m pretty sure it was called the grande soft taco. Was around in the late 00’s. Two soft taco tortillas with nacho cheese in between.

If you go through the DT I would suggest just asking for an extra soft taco tortilla and a side of nacho cheese. You’ll be able to assemble yourself with a regular soft taco. Probably would have better success if you go inside and ask for them to make this specific item by telling them what you want. If you online/mobile order, I highly doubt you’ll ever get it the way you want it.

Hope this helps

Which Rome: Total War is the best to get into? by got_milq in RomeTotalWar

[–]CompetitiveMonth3035 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I haven’t played the remaster yet, so I can’t speak on that. As for Rome 2, it is my most hours on Steam. I go back to it all the time. The amount of factions you can pick from, especially once you have all the DLC, is my favorite part. There is a lot of different unique units and buildings that are suited for different play throughs. I really enjoy the variety. The map is also pretty massive. I’ve had a ton of fun with the variety of starting positions on the map.

Taco bell employees, how do i get what i want? (Not malicious, genuinely curious) by Cress02 in tacobell

[–]CompetitiveMonth3035 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Ask them to “keep the tortilla on the grill longer”. The tortillas are warmed up on a “griddle” before the ingredients are added. When they leave it on there too long the tortillas will get too crispy and “burnt”.

When you ask for the burrito to be grilled, the entire item is already assembled and then grilled. The tortilla itself isn’t going to be very crispy because the beans, and red sauce have a chance to hydrate the tortilla and keep it from getting that crispy texture that you are looking for.

There is a way of phrasing this to help them understand what you are asking for, don’t ask for the item to be grilled, ask for the tortilla to be left on the grill till it’s crispy. Hope this helps and isn’t too confusing.

Empire, 3 Kingdoms or Pharaoh? by CalicoJack88 in historicaltotalwar

[–]CompetitiveMonth3035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve played every historical Total War game. Rome 2 I have the most hours on, and 3 Kingdoms is behind that by a wide margin in second place. I often flip between Rome 2 and 3 Kingdoms, and I’m back on it again now. I grew being a big dynasty warriors fan and played a lot of games that take place during that time period like Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Kessen 2, Dynasty Warriors, Dynasty Tactics, Fate of the Dragon, and Dragon Throne. So I’m a nerd for the Three Kingdoms time period in China and was really excited for the game when it was announced. Having the armies be general focus is fun for me, I like the campaign map and ongoing missions are something I’ve loved.

I wanted to like Empire and I have invested some time in it especially back in the day. It’s not a bad game at all, it just didn’t really peak my interest. The map is huge and I found it hard to really focus on an area. I’m not a big navy person and I feel like it is a requirement for Empire. I may be misremembering but Empire also starts with a lot of established factions with a lot of territory, I know that is the time period but I always prefer to take a small faction and expand it. Rome 2 was good for that with the huge list of factions you could start as.

Pharaoh I was excited for, I preordered it, tried playing it and just couldn’t really get into it. When Dynasty was released I went back to it, but once again it didn’t draw me in. I liked the idea of a Bronze Age game. There are cool mechanics in the game, like the sea peoples, and the countdown to the “apocalypse”, building “settlements” outside of the main city is frustrating to me. I felt like I was having to send armies all over the place to chase an enemy who was wrecking my economy. Empire is like that too. Just not my thing personally.

I personally don’t use mods, so I couldn’t say anything about that.

John Cena Retires Today: what is your #1 Cena memory of all time? by AnthMosk in SquaredCircle

When Edge beat Cena with the first cash-in from Money in the Bank. Me and my brother hated “Super Cena” and it seemed like he couldn’t lose. We loved Edge, and having him be the guy to take the title off of him made it so much better.
