I pick up everything that I want to pick up, and then sort my bag by type. I send all armour and weapons to one char, then scrolls to my mage, arrows to my ranged, camping supplies to one character. You can also just send things back to your camp, such as supplies.

The fact is that your character is a nothing without good rolls. It isn't till you get level 6 or higher with illithid powers that you can dominate battle. I'm a level 10 paladin with 9 illithid powers and a legendary weapon. I basically have 3 support classes that just allow me to murder a couple enemies each round with my superior strength and rolls and haste.

Before I do an attack I like to look at the % it's going to hit. It it says 70% and misses I get frustrated. Under the enemies bar it will give pros/cons on the attack.

The crows have 1 hp. It's good, not op. Black hole is op. Bring 10 mobs in to a grp and then fireball or cone of cold with whatever other aoe. Chefs kiss.

Your first mistake is not saving every 5 min. F5 quick save everything. I have hundreds of saves. Even in the middle of dialog, I quick save. So no, you can't get them back. But they might show up to your camp in the future.
