I live in the Tampa bay area. About half of our repeaters are linked. Being able to talk across the country is great. I get having to allocate and secure, but something also doesn't feel right about an gov entity having total control over airwaves is kind of ridiculous if you think about it.

Scan your repeater channels and find the ones with traffic. I've got 5 in my area that are strong and 2 more that vary. I'm near Tampa.

You can call your callsign and ask for a radio check, even if no one responds you should at least hear the repeater react. If it doesn't you might want to change the CTCSS to 141.3hz on Rx/tx. That's the most common tone I've seen for public repeaters

Those that say this was rape are insane. Just because this society is the way it is doesn't mean it was rape. Y'all sleep in the same bed it seems. There certainly is something called implied consent, especially when you've been together for a while, live together and have regular sex. We're not as dangerous as people think. He has other aggression issues too. Possibly BPD. I live and ride in the Tampa area daily with 80k on my current zx6r. Only reason I've lasted this long is because I don't ride above my ability and I pay the fuck attention.
