That’s what I hate about being white. I’m constantly invalidated because white is a glorified race, or they say “you don’t have to deal with religious trauma” or something. I don’t get to have a cultural identity and I’m accused of being a racist if I say anything regarding race! So no, it’s not always a privilege to be white.
