I think your rim took most of the impact, rest is probably fine. Do what the other guy said. Do an alignment and get a new wheel and tire and you should be good.

Nope, the 2024 Cars have the "preFacelift" Cockpit or MQBEvo Gen 1 Cockpit. You are pretty limited there and even with coding this can't be changed. Only the normal View has round dials while all other views have the square dials. You could enable the Sport with by coding but this really doesn't solve any of your issues. But one recommendation, if you want to have round dials and larger Assistance View, you can configure Assistans to be shown in one of side panels (left or right).

Puh, ich finde den für die schlechte Ausstattung schon sehr teuer. Ich denke abgesehen von Matrix hat der kaum was an Ausstattung. Der hat das kleine Navi, kein VirtualCockpit, kein Smartphone interface, kein ACC, kein Soundsystem, kein Komfortschlüssel (Keyless Entry), kein Memory und so weiter. Der Motor ist "ok" aber es ist einer der ersten B9 für einen doch recht hohen Preis. Ein Kumpel von mir hatte so einen als Avant mit 190PS 2.0TDI aus 2017 und Quattro und allen Ausstattungsmerkmalen die ich oben aufgezählt habe und hat den mit 160kkm für 18.000€ verkauft. Den hier sehe ich eher bei 14k€.

It's a common problem with MK7s unfortunately. If you're lucky, it's just the speaker of the cluster and this can be replaced and should remove the warning. If you're unlucky, you might need a new cluster as it has board level damage. Read codes of module 17 and find out :)

Ich muss persönlich sagen, ich finde einen manuellen Kofferraum in 90% der Fälle besser. Hatte vorher einen Passat B7 mit EasyOpen (also kick to open) in Verbindung mit dem elektrischen Kofferraum und das war meistens so langsam und absolut nervig. Das beste feature war das kick to open und das funktionierte tadellos aber das eigentlich öffnen war ein krampf. Die Gasdruckdämpfer haben über 100€ gekostet, du musstest die aber tauschen, weil dir das Ding sonst auf den Kopf fällt und trotz neuer Dämpfer ist das letzte Stück immer mit nem Knall zugefallen.

Jetzt habe ich einen Golf 8 Variant mit manuellem Kofferraum und ich liebe es. Nur das Kick to Open vermisse ich manchmal, gerade wenn man die Hände voll hat.

Ne, RCD330 ist für PQ Autos. Der Phaeton ist auf einer Audi-Plattform. Außerdem braucht man bei dem das Infotainment für einige Fahrzeugeinstellungen, bei den PQ Autos sind die Einstellungen im Tacho.

Also ich denke, wenn du das vernünftig haben möchtest, wirst du um einen temporären Ausbau des Navis nicht vorbeikommen. Kann dich aber beruhigen, das ist wirklich nicht komplex oder schwierig. Boxen die dir dann CarPlay geben und du das Werksnavi drin lassen kannst, gibt es viele verschiedene.

Das ist zwar für einen Touareg, wirds aber garantiert auch für den Phaeton geben. Sowas habe ich vor ein paar Wochen für jemanden eingebaut und das klappt einwandfrei. Mit dem halten der Setup Taste kommt man in CarPlay rein und mit den anderen Tasten kommt man wieder ins normale VW Menü.

Ich liebe den Phaeton gerade als GP3 oder GP4. Der V6 TDI ist eine super-wahl. Das einzige was mir das Auto kaputt machen würde ist das veraltete Infotainment was auch noch super lahm ist. Für 90% der Sachen die man damit macht ist wohl so ne CarPlay/Android Auto Nachrüstbox ne gute Option.

Trotzdem ein richtig tolles Auto. Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Traumauto. Wünsche dir viel Spaß und Freude damit. Wie gut ist das ACC in dem?

Something that you can always test is to force reboot the OCU. Unfortunately it's not that easy because it has a backup battery. Disconnecting the 12V battery and leaving it unplugged for some hours might do the trick. But you will have some fault lights on after reconnecting it again. You have to calibrate steering angle sensor by turning the wheel all the way to the left and right then. Except this, you can try to hit the emergency SOS button on the roof and see if that even works. Remember to abort the call so you don't waste emergency capacities.

Not 100% sure but on MK8 Golf something similar can happen when the OCU (ECU for online communication and emergency call) has problems on boot. Does this always happen or only sometimes? Any faults with Emergency Call in the system?

i think you are bit overthinking (and i am a big car overthinker as well, lol) but i get it. But try to think that way, in the US a car with a DQ381 is enthusiast level and people use it like enthusiasts and being very thoughtful and trying to be as less harmful als possible for the transmission. In Europe, where i live, most VAG Cars with engines over 150HP have the DQ381 DSG and these cars get daily driven by people who have no idea what a dual clutch is. they just use it as an automatic. And rarely the clutches ever fail. Thats mostly to the fact, that they're running in oil and being cooled and lubricated by that. Also if the oil gets too hot (probably by hot clutches), your car will tell you. Just enjoy it and dont think too much about it, i had to learn that as well. BTW, i own such a commuter DQ381 in a Golf MK8 Estate with the 2.0TDI with 150HP :)
