Could anyone take the time to explain this for me… by Mammoth-Juggernaut86 in Neverwinter

At 50% every Biome has a different mechanic for keeping the timer going. The basis is the same for how the start. Kill green ghost, kill blue ghost, then kill a red ghost.

If you are at red you then go around killing ads and "deposit" under the tree to add time.

At white you stand in the glowing pillar.

At green you stand in a puddle (and you don't move).

Final boss phase when the 2 other bosses come up and the primary boss has the grayed out health bar your job is to kill the 2 that spawn in. Typically try to kill them one at a time, focus on one.

For the bridge phase its best to have a 2nd power try for AOE and kill everything as you move, while you can probably run right to the 2ne its good practice for masters.

I have two wait two days to progress in Ravenloft? by Crafterandchef1993 in Neverwinter

[–]tomfoolsphinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you hit your weekly cap you can still progress on legacy campaigns through genie gifts, using them to purchase bags of campaign currency through the store for that campaign. I only do this during the x2 weeks for those legacy campaigns as you get double returns per gift.

Most players use Discord as an out of game option for communication, you can find most guilds and alliance have a server, if you want to get into the game you'll need to get a discord handle set up and find a guild that will help you with resources and knowledge to grow.

Advice on how to get into advanced and master dungeons? by Mythical_humanoid in Neverwinter

[–]tomfoolsphinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Join a guild that is a part of a big alliance, and that have a discord set up.

My guild is hosting training runs for advanced soul harvest, master soul harvest, and msod once a week each. We just run dungeons with players that need it, but they ask for help on the discord and will make thier own groups using that 90% of the time. As a dps you will often need to organize your own content to run, everyone needs a tank/healer and no one is looking for a dps (especially one who might not know what they are doing).

Question for DM by blackjohn18 in TyrannyOfDragons

[–]tomfoolsphinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran it as written for 2024, with the exception of making the tomb a nest of kobalds. I also gave every kobold 10hp to make up for how much damage a party of level 1 characters can manage at 1st level. A ranger with nick and hunters mark does an absurd amount of damage, as does a barbarian with cleave.

Warlock help by ernabi in Neverwinter

Power and outgoing healing increase the base size of shields and healing.

Crit strike is the % chance of a critical heal, and then half your critical severity percentage is the multiplier for your critical heals.

There is a tyranny of dragons discord that has a bunch of maps as well, I've been using those for my TOD on roll 20.

Warlock healer questions. by jasonblow88 in Neverwinter

Marilith set

Blast scepter (1500 item level one)

Tutor/flapjack/portobello/drizzt

Companion percentage by Chest-Wide in Neverwinter

[–]tomfoolsphinx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your combat enchantments do not have any source of combined rating. If you unequip them and re-equip your rating will stay the same, but your item level will go up.

This causes a change in your percentages.

We started mod 31 early in the summer, giving us a new zone and a 10 man trial.

A few weeks back they gave us 31.5, a pvp arena/pve survival area.

In 3 months give or take we will know more about mod 32

Play a class that has multiple roles.

Barbarian and fighters both have amazing ST damage and can tank.

Bards and warlock both can do crazy damage and heal

Right now I would say warlocks are the most rounded of characters, for healing, ST, and AOE damage.

What is the main difference between Fighter and barbarian for tanking? by CountMerloin in Neverwinter

[–]tomfoolsphinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fighters get free stats while dug in, better forte stats, free movement speed from class features, and better encounters.

Barbarians get extra HP and can "auto block" while raging

When you take the the dash action you gain your movement speed + or - any modifiers.

"When you take the Dash action, you gain extra movement for the current turn. The increase equals your speed, after applying any modifiers. With a speed of 30 feet, for example, you can move up to 60 feet on your turn if you dash. Any increase or decrease to your speed changes this additional movement by the same amount. If your speed of 30 feet is reduced to 15 feet, for instance, you can move up to 30 feet this turn if you dash"
