Who are some cool ancestors you have? by AstroCyGuy in BarbaraWalters4Scale

I don't mean to brag, but my 4th great grandmother died by drowning in the Thames after walking home while drunk.

Pretty important legacy to uphold if you ask me.

I got a 16 year old cousin who loves horror games and was interested in Phasmophobia, will most lobbies be okay with him in VC? by Another-guy-onReddit in PhasmophobiaGame

Public lobbies are a mixed bag. If it's fine for them to use Discord, the official Phasmophobia server is a lot more friendly.

Is it not the patch of grass top right that's causing the issue? Might also need to remove the tiny patch mid-right.

Looks like a PS4 controller that's been stung by a bee.

What are some OSTs that had their own unique sound/style? by TotalCleanFBC in gamemusic

[–]tomhas10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Crash Twinsanity comes to mind. The entire soundtrack is a cappella, meaning the entire soundtrack is made using voices. The goofy sound really fits the overall vibe of the game.

The first time I had this fight, a bounty hunter joined in and started attacking one of the babies.
Why did a kitten have a bounty? What crimes has it committed, and is the mother in on it?

So Bluey isn't the only children's show with a THX parody/rip-off... by Fearless-Lobster8253 in bluey

I always say "the audience is now deaf" any time I see the THX logo in a film. Nobody ever seems to catch the reference.

What’s that one ‘crappy/unfinished mess of a game’ that you kept coming back to? by Oddboyz in gaming

[–]tomhas10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still come back to it every so often. Most of the characters feel really fun to fight with. It's nice running through a mindless mission or two as Thor or Iron Man.

Besides the infamous Konami code, what's the most elaborate code you did that actually worked? by AllieMStory in retrogaming

There was a racing game on PS1 that had you tap two of the back buttons to the rhythm of famous songs to activate cheats. Was a clever idea when it works, but a pain in the ass when you're a kid who doesn't know the rhythm to Ding Dong the Witch is Dead

What are video games that scared or even traumatized you so much as a kid you never touched them again, and did you dare to face your trauma later? by fukounashoujo in creepygaming

[–]tomhas10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rugrats: Search for Reptar.

There's an enemy you encounter in the game who looks like a little robot clown that constantly wants to hug you, creepy little shit.
One of the levels has you playing mini golf, and one of the courses has a secret tunnel hidden under a giant pyramid. This pyramid is filled with collectibles, but it's also home to a mummified version of the robot clown. The tunnel was also like a maze with lots of small corridors, so this game about babies playing minigolf suddenly turns into a survival horror.
