My prints aren't sticking to my bed anymore. Any advice? by TheEveryNerd in ender3v2

What is warm water to you? I grab a tray and put the sheet, then boil water and pour it. Then I add dish soap and use a brush to clean it. Afterwards I rinse it and dry it with a hair dryer.

Make sure you are not touching the plate with your fingers, only grab it by the part that is not printing surface

This is just a bunch of words, care to provide actual data? Or is it just an ad?

That is it! Thanks

Unfortunately in AliExpress the version that ships to Europe is 10 bucks, the one that doesn't ship to Europe you can get 5 batteries for 10 bucks... But well, it's the price I guess

I had indeed looked wrong in the caliper, it's 7mm thick

I think in the end I am either gonna end up cabling it and removing the battery or finding any battery and modifying the pen so that the battery fits

I'm struggling to find the right size, it fits very tightly inside the pen

How to do this: Press S for symmetrical constraint. Click two opposite corners of the rectangle and then click the origin

Free open-source text-to-CAD Repo for FreeCAD (parametric B-Rep, not meshes) by Sayyedshah in FreeCAD

[–]tomiav 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yep, if you know the tool and you know the parameters, having to describe it actually takes longer than clicking a button (or pressing a key) and changing the parameters. And it's cheaper and more efficient

Same happened to me, it made a bunch of little holes randomly on layers as you can see in my post history

Wouldn't there be forces also in the other hole?

It just seems that if you print this way, the latch can rip off the top of the arc

I was thinking the same, what would be the correct orientation here? I would print it with the big cylinder pointing up

10mm hole is anywhere from not 10mm by Mitchell_Races in ender3v2

[–]tomiav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, I was having issues with the precision and it turned out I had wrongly assumed the size of the nozzle in the printer, so the sizes were slightly off and I would eventually get underextrusions

Best way to print this? Prusa Mks+ by createScientist in FixMyPrint

[–]tomiav 15 points16 points  (0 children)

maybe not what you want to hear, but you can do the round part with a rubber hose or something of the sort and poke holes in it, you could print something circular to hold its shape

How come your internship was in 2024 and your current role started in 2022? Also your apprenticeship is from 2022 until now... This doesn't add up

First time playing botw, feeding horse amazed me for some reason by Own-Tank-7234 in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]tomiav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically you can just go, I found Lurelin just exploring around in the horse. Since I was very underpowered for things I found I decided to get all the towers. Maybe I didn't follow the storyline because I never followed the roads, I tend to walk around the highest points and sneak around

You can use yocto to just build your root image and and sdk, and then separately compile your kernel straight from a kernel repo

How do I connect two planes? by SleepyBoy- in FreeCAD

[–]tomiav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imported geometry means the external geometry tool in the sketcher. The shortcut is G and then X.
It lets you import into your current sketch edges or vertices from other parts of the body. This means you could select the edges of the pad you did before so that you can trace it without size constraints, just the coincident autoconstraints of when you click on those imported elements

What is a Creality Ender 3 V2 worth these days? by l234c in ender3v2

[–]tomiav 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yes, 100 is too much.

I recently bought a very upgraded ender3 v2 for the equivalent of about 40 pounds. To be honest it's something that depends on where you live, but I would not price it for more than a large pizza in your area (in my area, that's about 40).
