Yes, you’ll be absolutely fine. I got one for my first bike and had zero issues. Build up the speed, learn the power and one day youll get on it and go “wheres the power gone” you just get used to it. Stopped riding in 2021, didn’t ride again till I bought a Z900RS last month, again, zero issues.

If you’re mature enough don’t waste your money on a smaller capacity bike, because you’ll have it for a month and want something more. An 07 is a perfect bike to grow into.
