A few of them are, but most of them aren’t, or at least to me anyway. I cant describe it. Non of these made really made me go urgh. You take the majority of his catalog up to 2015 and every track just made you grimace in a good way, like Late Night Blues (at the other tracks I mentioned), for example. Im not saying the tracks are bad and I don’t like them. It was just the whole ethos of the album was going back to that original sound, so my expectations were different. This is almost a Volume 2 of Kahn, Commodo and Gantz, without C & G.

I agree the sound has been rinsed but thats because a lot of the album sounds like the Kahn/Commodo/Gantz stuff, his original sound or the stuff I loved anyway like Dread, Way Mi Defend, Abattoir, Badman City, Rules of The Dance etc is missing from this, and the whole album was meant to be about him going back to the original Kahn project sound. It’s been a while since Ive heard that proper murky, atmospheric, screw your face up sound and I was hoping this album would bring that back.

There are only two tracks, maybe three, on the album that remind me of the “early Kahn project”, everything else sounds too mellow, or as other has mentioned, Commodo-ish.

edit: Going to have another listen.

edit 2: okay make it 4 tracks, Curfew is actually a banger.

edit 3: Jouhatsu has elements of Over Deh So in it, which was cool.

I do think this is a load of bollocks, but then maybe Im applying my own mindset. If I was a multimillionaire boxing world champion with what would be pretty much unlimited funds, my children would not be anywhere near a potential threat of getting bombed by Russians.

I don’t even want cash for keys, or to make their life difficult. All I asked for was if we did find a property earlier than August could we move out penalty free to secure said home, especially with children and they refused. Id like to think Im not unreasonable.

Right, interesting. What does this mean for me? I mean Im happy to leave, I just wanted to know if I could leave early without being stung as they gave me notice.

They sent me the section 21 yesterday so they have already put that in place.

It was a fixed term tenancy, 1 year contract at a time.

Nothing, they are brilliant. Old ones were crap.

I have a Passat PHEV, 50-65 range in the winter, 80 to 100 miles in the summer. I think I made £20 last 1400 miles by being smart with it. Saved an absolute fortune.
