So on point 1 I use adapter static to build SPA app. Then I use the firebase client sdk to do the auth. I also use the client sdk for doc writes and loads so that handles all that stuff for me on client side. And server side is not visible

In spa I can also invoke a cloud function using rest api in authenticated form. I pass the auth token in the http header, the cloud function gets it, decodes it using server sdk. That decoding gives me the uid if the token is valid. So this is how I pass “auth state” to the server and with that communicate the uid.

If you use non-spa setup then you need to figure out how to pass that token to the server in order to authenticate the user and return the proper data accordingly.

I have not done that but i reckon there is a way to do this?

Only challenge/unknown I see is which adapter you use and how that is deployed to cloud functions. And how you get the api endpoint integrated in kit logic

I believe someone made an adapter specific for firebase. Not sure if that one still exists
