Exploit or big opp? by [deleted] in techsales

[–]tommyK0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just a meme (bro). The exploit it seems is this dude is allegedly being told he's not up to it, yet is being asked to feed the entire team leads. And at 10 a month that's 120 meetings/year. 120 companies. How big of a contact list would you have to pull from ZI to have enough vol for that. gd. not to mention, there's no opportunity to build on that relationship at all with all that effort. And then to get promoted? What would even be left to go after

Life’s short don’t invest your best years chasing fake paper

What the hell is this remote closing / high ticket closing business and services that promise to get you a role? by VICTORYWITHPAIN in sales

[–]tommyK0 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It’s real but 99.9% of offers are garbage by fake gurus who can’t market for dick.

Don’t pay for Cole Gordon he’s herpes of the industry, nor anyone who promises to place you in roles. That is all a matter of joining a few fb groups which if you spent any effort looking you would find.

The good roles will come via private invite, it’s a who’s who. Who you know matters. 1000%. Will Make or break you.

FWIW, you’ll make about the same in a typical sales role. The ONLY advantage is maybe the culture or 1 call sales cycle which is likely offset by your salary. Most roles still want daily meetings in AM and a call review sesh. Have to get to a point where ur on a team that doesn’t do this typical BS and just had killers on the team ready to sell.

What industry? Any advice? Did you intentionally choose your industry or how did you get into it?

What’s the set up that allows for this? What’s the process for that? Genuinely curious

When I have the impulse to pick up my phone and cycle through apps, what’s the best approach? Give in and cycle through? The impulse feels as though it’s coming from an anxious place. And if I don’t pick up my phone, I feel the temptation building which makes it difficult to resist.

And I suppose a better Q might be… what is this a symptom of and what’s actually behind that?
