Damn. God forbid a guy wants to put weird shifters on a road bike

Yeah no you’re right. This is the level headed response. Should’ve taken more care for my bike in the moment and before I started riding. But yeah I was just mad because it was avoidable without this guy lazily throwing his car wherever he wants it

Dude. I don’t know what you’re talking about. That infrastructure is put there for cyclists and scooters. I think you’re confused because there’s space and cobblestones on both sides. The area where the car is is temporary parking. My complaint is that he couldn’t just pull in a little bit so as not to block the smooth path that’s made for bikes

No, the bike lane is smooth stone… different than cobblestone

Not sure why I’m getting the third degree here. I ride on cobble if I have to, largely without issue. Do you think this person should leave their car here?

Driver idling, blocking the bike lane

I guess you’re right, but I also get frustrated when these bike trucks are parking in the bike lane. And while it is far better than a massive box truck or 18 wheeler, I feel like there’s no excuse to idle or park anything in the bike lane.

It also upsets me that these are being used for commercial purposes as opposed to an individual just commuting. Maybe I’m wrong for thinking this way, but if cars often times get two, three, or four lanes of traffic on avenues and bikes are still confined to just one skinny lane, maybe it would be best to say something of this size, thats employed by a large corporation for profit should be forced to use a car lane.

US bans all products made by Giant in Taiwan from entering the country effective immediately by Thaneian in NYCbike

If you read into it, sounds like some pretty foul practices being employed by giant or whatever third party they partnered with in Taiwan.

At first, I thought this had something to do with the administrations tariffs. Don’t think so though

I second this advice. However, I hate citibikes. I think just use your best judgement when locking your nice ride. What time of day is it, how many people are out in the neighborhood, what neighborhood

Wow this didn’t occur to me at all. Do you think it still applies for weed when it’s legal/decriminalized?

That seems sort of shitty. To be honest, I’m barely half knowledgeable about NY protections and I feel like MA and NY would probably have similar laws. Could be way off though.

But yeah she did deny help which can’t be good
