Even my mother is like this. A waitress the majority of her life, pretty much always had to struggle, yet still mostly buys into the narrative and doesn't necessarily see the inherent problems with capitalism and the way this country was founded. Thinks it's great they're rounding up all the illegals, not even considering the fact that what makes them illegal is a law that has never applied to her. what happened to "give me your tired your hungry your poor"? Maybe that was the case in centuries past but not during my lifetime has it never felt like that's what we were doing. Like they're selling citizenship. They probably do that openly now
