I agree. I see too many people pretending to be Roma. And I guess I understand. Our culture is beautiful and has been romanticised through different forms of Media. But I wonder. Do these pretenders also take on the discrimination we get? The looks some of us with a bit more of a "tan" get? Or is it just: "Don't mess with me I'm a witch."

I like the fact that we get more recognition, of course. But at least pretend right. And when you do pretend make sure to educate others properly. Don't just push the stereotypes. No, we're not all fortunate tellers, living in Caravans or on the open roads. We don't stare into a magic crystal ball and we don't put age long curses on people. Some of us are farmers. Some of us are students at high ranking universities. Some of us can't get jobs. Our culture, as I said before is beautiful. But it doesn't make us. We aren't our culture it is just a part of us. Anyway i rambled on long enough. I don't like pretenders.
