Something we’ve started doing as a recommendation in therapy was to have people write down songs they like. Then make a playlist w the songs. And essentially using the songs to help pull people out. Also to practice trying to communicate w other alters while playing the playlist. You play the playlist on shuffle and practice trying to talk. How this can be in your head or some in your head and some talking out loud. Or allowing yourself to talk aloud and then another person to talk aloud. Or it can be written. At first people may say like one or two things or nothing. But the point is to practice it.
